    Vargas got shot a few years ago.

    Very sad news on Wells though. I always enjoyed watching him fight, even if he was never quite as good as I'd hoped he would be.

    I thought he'd be better than he turned out in the pros, but either way he at least got to fight for a trinket twice.

    Before I go boxrec warrior, I thought Wells' big break was like getting robbed on the Tua/Ibeabuchi undercard and getting a title shot out of that robbery?

    on to boxrec...

    dammit...must have been the jl lopez/aaron davis fight from that night...

    I thought Wells had some bigger fights earlier in his career...doesn't look like it, though.
