Theres no way in hell we'll ever see Diaz at 130. I think he'll be moving up to 140 pretty soon, especially considering Hatton's career is winding down.
If he hasnt by now, he never will. I talk alot of shit about Diaz, but supposedly his work ethic in the gym is great, he always trains hard. I think 135 is his natural weight. He'd be drained as hell at 130. MAYBE he had a shot at making 130 when he was 19-20 and still developing, but not at this point when he's well within his physical prime.

Ask if he's done anything differently in preparation for this fight. Also, ask how difficult it is to mentally rebound after such a grueling fight. I'm sure he'll give a PC answer, but the truth of the matter is he got beaten at his own game. Sometimes guys can justify losses by telling themselves they didn't do certain things or could have made adjustments. I thought Juan got beaten doing what he does best. I want to know how he deals with that and how it affects his preparation. One a side note...I think this is a BAD fight for Juan. Not that Katsidis is that good, but Juan's going to be right in front of him which is good for Katsidis.
Agreed! Ive been saying this all along. Diaz has never faced anyone who hits like Katsidis(a shot Frietas doesnt count). I'm still going with Kat by late stoppage, though I say this with very little certainty. If Kat had a solid chin I'd be certain, but his chin appears pretty dodgy, so its a tentative pick. Part of what knocked him out is not seeinga shot he walked into. Diaz is going up against a guy who will probably be stronger and throws just as many punches. it's not like Diaz is a murderous puncher and he doesn't exactly walk guys into traps like Casamayor did.
This is true, but Katsidis was also badly hurt by a bum in Graham Earl. His chin aint the best. But the way Diaz punches, even if he hurts Kat, I have doubts on him putting him away.

You couldn't be more wrong in your analysis of Diazs' strategy, it will be very similar to the Lakva Sim fight. I've seen him work twice, and the guy looks just great.
Not lately I haven't bro, twice was more than enough of that action for me. Going back there Wednesday next, he looks as sharp as a razor from what I have seen of him thus far, peaking out at just the right time and not overdoing it. He has a great conditioning coach in Bryan Caldwell, and is ready to punch for twelve full rounds, and you may see his best stuff yet on Sep 6th.
Ask him if he's annoyed by the fact that Katsidis is so highly regarded despite winning a grand total of 0 meaningful fights.
