We ALL Have those Fights that we REFUSE to Accept...Fights where what OFFICIALLY Happened is Something we Simply CANNOT Accept...

DeLa vs. Tito is an Example...Even REED Feels that DeLa WON that Fight, but OFFICIALLY, Tito Won a Decision...

REED Also has a Problem w/DQ Losses...To REED a DQ is DIFFERENT from a Loss...Particularly N the Cases of Roy Jones' "Loss" to Montell Griffin & Andrew Golota's "Losses" to Riddick Bowe...

So What R Some of those OFFICIAL Verdicts that U Flat-Out REFUSE to Accept???...

Chris Byrd's win over Fres Oquendo. That was Byrd's first defense of his IBF title and the f*cker got outboxed, outjabbed for 12 rounds. By some f*cking miracle, he was awarded 10 out of 12 rounds on 1 judge's scorecard and 9 out of 12 on another judge's scorecard.
That motherf*cker DID NOT beat Fres Oquendo that night. Even he couldn't admit he won the fight, hanging his head in shame. And yes, Byrd had ZERO chance against Lewis. I know a lot of f*ckers will say Lewis ducked Byrd. WTF would Lewis even want to waste 6-8 months of calendar space on this f*cking loser? LOL! A fight with zero interest and Byrd having zero chance in hell of winning. Not even a lucky puncher's chance on Lewis' chin.

Holy shit I had forgot about Byrd-Oquendo. Maybe because it was a dreadful fight between two eye cancers.

In any case, I agree with you. That fight was a robbery. Even though I only saw it once, and have NO intention of ever seeing it again! But from what I remember I was pretty outraged by the decision.

And yes you are correct, Lummox would have bashed Turd's head in. And I would have enjoyed every minute of it.

The first fight that came to mind has to be Forrest-Quartey. I'm sorry, but Forrest simply did NOT win that fight.

Good one. I guess i never thought about it too much as i didn't take Ike's comeback very seriously, but he certainly beat Forrest.

That was a really bad decision.

The "draw" in the Leonard-Hearns rematch.

It really sucked that Tommy didn't get the official decision.

Damn! I had almost forgot..... Emmanuel Augustus vs Courney Burton. This fight is rarely talked about anymore, but it has to rank up there amongst the biggest robberies ever!

Augustus won all 10 rounds, yet some-fuckin-how they gave Burton the decision! It was a TERRRRIBLE fuckin decision, anyone who remembers this fight knows what I mean.

That DLH won the fight on one persons scorecard in his bout with Mayweather. Holy fuck how anyone scores more than 5 rounds for DLH is beyond me

Hagler has none but himself to blame for losing that fight.

De La Hoya-Quartey: A great finish doesn't make up for the number of rounds DLH did nothing. DLH lost, and the fight wasn't hard to score.

Mosley-De La Hoya 2: Close fight that I had DLH narrowly winning over Mr. "I flew across the state and paid $1,600 for supplements that I injected but I thought they were vitamins".

    Of course, there's the obvious robberies like Coggi-Gonzalez I, Lewis-Holyfield I, Everett-Escalera, etc..

Fenech beat Nelson in their first fight, and should have gone down in history as a 4-division champ.

I thought Teddy was gonna have a heart attack that night. Screaming about the decision, then screaming to the point of spitting on the commissioner

but yeah that was just terrible officiating all round, judges and the referee.

    Some others:
    Lewis D12 Holyfield
    Briggs W12 Foreman
Norris DQ5 Santana (1st fight, second fight he deserved to get DQ'd)

i have serious problems with the Ike-DLH verdict

other ones i simply do not accept are Lewis-Holy 1, worst decision of all time and Pac-JMM 1, Pac won that fight if the judge scored round 1 correctly... judge comes out and admits he screwed up scoring the round because he didnt know the rules!!!

also any sahaprom loss i refuse to accept

I'll throw in some bias here and say Holyfield-Bowe 2.

The fight was a draw on my card, and Bowe was having a very good 7th round (after a bad previous 2 rounds) before that idiot came down and delayed the fight. Holyfield ended up winning that 7th round on the cards, and won the fight by 1 and 2 pts on the cards.

Yeah, the headbuttboy was wearing himself out there. Without the delay, he woud have been done after nine rounds and Bowe would have taken the decision or stopped him late

I don't get too riled up about close decision losses even if the wrong guy won. I figure there's always the next fight, especially if it involves a big name.

As an example, I have a hard time getting upset over Oscar/Tito. Oscar fought like such a bitch at the end of the fight he deserved to get robbed. Plus, it's hard to ever feel sorry for The Golden Boy.

That said, fights that never really sat well with me:

    Holy / Lewis I

Marlon Starling / Mark Breland II

Jones DQ vs. Griffin. Not a Jones fan but I hate drama queens.

on the same note......Michalshitski vs. Roccagianni

Leonard admits he lost the fight.

Just like Chavez admits nowadays that he lost the Whitaker fight. Thats why I laugh when Double trys to justify the fight not being a robbery, when even CHAVEZ says he lost.

The stoppage was early, but judging by Zab's history after that fight, it would have been all academic anyway. Tszyu woulda kept pressuring Zab, and the mentally frail Zab woulda fell apart.

Old school fight, idk how many have seen it but.... I thought Bennie Briscoe clearly beat Antefermo, but they gave Vito the decision.

Hitting a man while he's down is the most cowardly thing you can do. I think Jones should have been suspended and fined. Same thing with Barrera hitting Marquez.
