The age where it begins to show(where women can't hide it any longer) is just over 36 I believe. Although they go nuts with surgery well before then. True, women DO have a very short shelf life. Some of them try to play motherly roles or sophisticated roles like Meryl Streep and Diane Lane where not much or any emphasis is on looks. Other women though who mostly were in Hollywood because of their looks will not find a role anywhere other than maybe some C movie or straight to dvd junk.

 

Diane Lane is a bad example. I think she's one of the few that has gotten BETTER with age.

 

She's OLD! But the thing is as I said, her acting ability hides it. The roles she chooses or plays don't concern or pinpoint her looks the way somebody like Denise Richards or Angelina Jolie do.
Nobody watches Jolie to see her great acting. Heck she doesn't even choose roles where she can show off her acting.::

 

So Lane doesn't audition for cheerleader or lifeguard roles:: sue her.

Jolie's days as one of the most beautiful is coming to an end.
