Graham was universally avoided, as well you know. In his whole career, he was given the grand total of TWO title shots; one against McCallam which he narrowly lost an the other against Jackson, whom he was clowning until he had a mid air nap..

Didn't he also get a shot against Charles Brewer and blow that as well?
Graham was a very talented fighter but has become a bit overrated as
regards championship potential. No doubt though, if he were guided by Warren, he could have been a long term titleist, look what warren did for the less talented but equally chinny johnny nelson...

Yes, but it was his last fight, it was at SMW and he was 39 years old.

Chinny Johnny Nelson? You're kidding right? He had one of the most dependable beards in the sport for about 15 years.

The 1986 version of John Mugabi that gave Hagler hell.

He "technically" won a title against Jaquot but it was an ankle injury that forced that one round stoppage......so I don't count it.

That guy showed alot in that Hagler fight....but it ruined him.

No reason Mugabi should have moved UP to face that monster that was Hagler.

Mugabi was a feirce fighter, no doubt. But he was a headcase and had problems outside the ring BEFORE the Hagler fight. There were some horror stories of the things he did and said while in training for fights as a youngin'. Ibeabuchi always reminded me of Mugabi upstairs...John did keep his shit together better though.

    Mugabi would rule 154 today.

Could you imagine Serihoe Mora trying to keep off Mugabi?

    And Santos doesnt have chin.

Are you crazy? All 3 of those guys would have iced Davis!

Davis would definitely pick up a belt at 140 if he was matched with Paulie though.

Not sure about Holt. My opinion on Holt is kinda high. He doesnt have the best of chins, but he has good technical skills, is quick, and of course can bang.
