Keith Kizer has stated that EPO and HGH aren't detectable by urine tests. They require blood tests to find. (The topic was raised by Jose Nunez, manager of Joan Guzman, in regards to the rumors spread by Juan Diaz's camp that Nate Campbell wasn't clean for their fight). So, should blood tests be mandatory in boxing...if not for every fight, then at least for championship fights?
It's supposedly pretty big in boxing. If it was such an issue, they should have put it in teh contract or something. Calling for it now won't do anything.
If the tests are very accurate and don't leave a lot of room for error i think it could be a good idea.
I suppose it would depend on the cost. If it's a championship fight i'm sure it could it worked into the cost along with the sanctioning fees and whatever other shit comes off the top.
They should let people take whatever they want. Why not a blood test? As long as they can take whatever they want. :::: Drugs are good; lack of drugs bad. tHIS ADVICE IS FREE, THE NEXT WILL COST YOU.
