If U're like REED, U've Probably Got a Stash of Round by Round Accounts of Fights, that U've ACCUMULATED Over the Years... REED has: Whittaker-Chavez Whittaker-DeLa DeLa-Sturm DeLa-Mosley I & II DeLa-Quartey Mosley-Forrest II Forrest-Mayorga II Taylor-Hopkins I Taylor-Wright Margarito-Williams Margarito-Cotto Toney-Jirov Toney-Peter I Ali-Frazier III Ali-Jones Mayweather-Castillo I Pac-Marquez I & II Marquez-Barrera Leonard-Duran I Ibeabuchi-Tua Lennox-Klitschko Spinks-Judah I Roy-Tarver I Roy-Hall (for the Fuck of It::) Chavez-Taylor I & REED's Probably Got a Few More that he just CAN'T Find Right Now... Do YOU Keep your Round by Rounds???...& if so, which Fights???... REED:hammert:
Round 1: Jones 10 Hall 7 Round 2: Jones 10 Hall 7 Round 3: Jones 10 Hall 7 Round 4: Jones 10 Hall 7 Round 5: Jones 10 Hall 7 Round 6: Jones 10 Hall 7 Round 7: Jones 10 Hall 7 Round 8: Jones 10 Hall 7 Round 9: Jones 10 Hall 7 Round 10: Jones 10 Hall 7 So until the stoppage it was 100-70 for Roy ::
Jones-Hall is my favorite fight to watch. Its Roy's most dazzling performance, and the last vintage performance of Roy's career. After the Hall fight, he started to slowly slip.
I prefer the Brannon fight to the Paz fight. The Sosa fight is also fun. Even though they stopped it a tad too early, he was firing Sosa up somethin terrible.
I was attempting to score Eubank-Watson I the other day, but didnt get around to it. The version I have is in spanish, so Im just gonna mute it and score it. But my initial watching of fight, I definitely thought that Watson won. Lispbank sure did get alot of gift decisions.
It's Probably THE Most ENTERTAINING 1-Sided, Lengthy Fight Ever::... & the Crowd was VERY MUCH Into the Fight, which Made it even Better...REED Actually Took the Time to Record EVERY Punch & Showboat Move Roy Did... Generally, REED Can Do a Round by Round Account on 1 Sheet of Paper (Front & Back)...But Roy-Hall Took Up 3 Sheets... REED::
Pathetic. How about big bad Roy beating a former lightweight with a broken neck. Wow, Roy is so tough and bad. Postman, substitute teachers and part time boxers lived in fear of the great Roy.
Agreed about the crowd. It was electric! One of the more electric crowds of the last 8 years. Floyd NEVER set a crowd on fire like that.
Your pathetic for shitting on great fighters like Roy, and Tito, and being a fan of a boring nobody like Chris Turd, and a bum like Gatti.
Uuuuuuh, 85-90% of ALL Fighters Have "Day" Jobs, DUNCE...But Leave it YOU & Your INFINITE Boxing IGNORANCE to Cling to the MYTH that Roy's the ONLY Guy who Fought Guys w/"Day" Jobs:boohoo:... Shits & Giggles STRIKES AGAIN!!!... Among Others who had Jobs OUTSIDE of the Ring, Marvelous Marvin Hagler Did CONSTRUCTION Work... REED:atu:
I wasn't shitting on Roy. I was shitting on you. If I had fans like you, I'd retire. You Roy fans are a "suspect" lot. You bragging about Roy beating Vinny Paz and Richard Hall:::: Btw, Felix Trindad was absolutely not a great fighter. It just shows how little you follow boxing. Roy was a great fighter. He just spent most of his career impressing bozos like you beating up no hope guys. He also beat some good guys too. I would rather hear people talk about his wins over Hill, Hopkins and Toney then bleet over his executions over guys who had no hope. Do you see DLH fans talking about DLH destruction of Yori Boy Campas. Btw, it is "you are or you're" pathetic. You can add the Jake's rule violation to the lesson I just gave you. Add it to my tab.
this is a bad post. Not only is it fiction that Marvin maintained construction work once he got to the elite level, but that is the point. At the championship level Roy fought many no-hopers that Roy fans love to bring up in assessing how great he was. If you want to talk about Roy's greatness, talk about the Hill, Hopkins, Toney fights as Ike said. Why bring up the Paz and Hall fights ever? I mean you would never hear me come on here and talk about Hagler vs. Caveman Lee, because that fight is meaningless.
! I loved Caveman Lee, his fight with Locicero was fuckin awesome haha, don't tlak shit! I get your point though, good post.
Dude, Marvin Hagler was an ELITE Level Middleweight for Several Years PRIOR to Winning the Middleweight Title...Do Your Fucking Homework, JUNIOR...& YES, he Worked Construction for Some of that Stretch.... No Different than 85-90% of ALL Prizefighters...It's Funny, NOBODY Faults Ken Norton for LOSING the WBC title to a Fucking TRUCK DRIVER, do They???...Instead, they just Say he Lost to a Future GREAT by the Name of Larry Holmes... Guys like YOU & your Bogus HO Cal Crew Wanna Rake Roy Jones Over the Coals for Facing Guys w/Regular Jobs, but AGAIN, that's the MAJORITY of Prizefighters... Outside of the TOP Money Makers or Guys on Lb 4 Lb Lists, VERY FEW Fighters can AFFORD to Train & Box EXCLUSIVELY...That's a Fucking FACT... & Sorry, w/the Exception of Mike Tyson, NO Recent Fighter DISPOSED of Mismatched Opponents like Roy Jones Did... REED:kidcool:
Good thread Reed even though it appears to have deteriated into another RJJ discussion. Like you, I do have a few rd by rd cards still, and most of them have little notes to each rd where I put certain things that may have happened during that rd. When I first saw this thread I thought everyone was going to be posting theres.
:dunno: Greatest boxing style ever...you see alot of young and very talented fighters try to imitate it..but they just can't do it... <object width="425" height="344"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/UDWnMXzgeZo&hl=en&fs=1"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/UDWnMXzgeZo&hl=en&fs=1" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowfullscreen="true" width="425" height="344"></embed></object>
I don't have a RBR of that fight, but Watson won clearly when I first watched it (albeit aged 11) and on the couple of ocassions I have rewatched it, that initial view has been reinforced. 'Robbery' is too strong a word, to be fair, but Watson won that fight clearly IMHO; by two rounds at least. Watson was winning the second fight by MILES too- he maybe won eight of eleven rounds, until the punch which changed everything at the end of the 11th. I'm not sure that Eubanks got THAT many gift deicisions, though. Certainly the first Watson fight was wrong, and I thought Benn won the second fight they had, and I can't quite recall the name of the guy who 'beat' Eubanks until his promoter (Hearsn or Werren, I cant be sure which) wandered over to the judges at the end of the fight, but other than that, I can't think of any gifts...:: MTF
I'm worthy of a thread :bears: sigs do funny things to people .... Didn't see too many rbr's pasted, hhhmmmmm. I guess it has nothing to do with watching the fights huh?
on this computer could only find a few scorecards of 'close' fights i made for past thread debates Whitaker - Chavez (115-113 for Whitaker) Golota - Ruiz (114-111 for Golota) DLH - Quartey (114-113 for DLH) DLH - Whitaker (114 - 112 for DLH) Holyfield - Qawi (145 - 140 for Holyfield) think i did this one cos of kid dynamite
De La Hoya-Trinidad Round 1: Even Round 2: De La Hoya Round 3: De La Hoya Round 4: Trinidad Round 5: De La Hoya Round 6: De La Hoya Round 7: De La Hoya Round 8: Trinidad Round 9: De La Hoya Round 10: Trinidad Round 11: Trinidad Round 12: Trinidad 115-114 (6-5-1) for De La Hoya Jones-Tarver I Round 1: Tarver Round 2: Tarver Round 3: Jones Round 4: Jones Round 5: Jones Round 6: Jones Round 7: Tarver Round 8: Tarver Round 9: Jones Round 10: Tarver Round 11: Jones Round 12: Jones 115-113 (7-5) for Jones
As of Yet, NOBODY Has Been DUMB Enough to Characterize Mayweather-Castillo I as a BORING Fight, Either... Looks like U're an IMBECILIC Minority of 1... REED:atu:
You gathered this because only one person posted their scorecards for a fight that had nothing to do with that one? If you are trying to get another sig for stupidity, you failed more ways than one.... Just more proof you created this thread because you think about me, back the fuck up :nono:
