raul marquez has earned his stripes and is worthy of ppv after years of tireless work against luis ramon campas. keith mullings and shane mosley. not to mention his enlightening commentary for hbo latino

The only people i can see paying for this are some latinos who don't know anything about Abraham and think they are watching Marquez get a title belt.

Abraham is a scrub. I hope Marquez beats him. He won't win though. Abraham was knocked out by Edison Miranda, allowed treatment and told to stay on his feet to get the decision. He was outboxed by Kofi Jantuah and Howard Eastman(yes that bum Eastman) only to win on all the scorecards. Marquez has no power. He will not win even if he does.

whatever. genius. now that you mention it, no fighter in history has ever skipped over a mandatory in favor of a more compelling fight. not even when it's a complete mismatch.

    Like who?

    Pavlik, who is fighting Hopkins.
    Calzaghe, who is fighting Jones.
Kessler, who is fighting his own mandatory.
    Taylor, who is fighting Lacy.
    Sturm, who is fighting Sylvester.
    Bute, who is fighting Andrade.

There are no more compelling fights.

Given his recent postings I´m not sure he is aware Hopkins isn´t the middleweight champ anymore.
