I am picking PACMAN. We need to will him to victory. I think this would be one of the greatest moments in history should pac win. I would put it second only to Tarver knocking Roy the fuck out. Imo, I will never ever be more pleased.

At least after pacquiao loses, he can hang out in the 135-140 lbs range and get interesting fights.

If Pac wins it would be an amazing W on his cv.

Dela receives more than his fair share of hate, when in fact he has brought more to the game than most.

Guys on here love to hate on Dela and celebrate how great Mayweather is in the next thread. I find that more than ironic.

not much truth to this post. he's not one of the top 5 of his generation. and he rarely is in exciting fights against top opponents.

I find it a bit ironic those claiming it would be a huge win for Pac when months ago they claimed Floyd beating DLH meant nothing despite both having to move up in weight and to fight the bigger man.

I have a feeling this fight will be a sparring session with both guys having a pre-fight "agreement" and Oscar carrying Manny to prove how "tough" an opponent Manny is.

Either that, or DLH will go down off a phantom Manny punch, and less than a month later, Manny signs to GB.

see here's the difference between DLH and scum like Floyd and Roy.

DLH doesnt claim to be the best in the world. He just takes on elite fighter after elite fighter, and lets stupid haters like yourself whack it to his likeness.

Criticizing DLH's resume is absolutely ridiculous, especially from a Floyd/Roy fan my goodness.

The weight class thing is a big issue, and people will take offense to it, but it isn't like DLH is touting this fight as something that will make him the "P4P #1" or the "best fighter in the sport."

He's doing it to make money and entertain his fans.

Oh and Neil, you're a fucking idiot. Mosley 1,2...Trinidad, Vargas, Chavez 2x, Quartey, etc....were all great exciting fights.

"Scum" like Roy & Floyd would NEVER Dig Up a Fucking Former FLYWEIGHT for a Bout, Either...But if they DID, REED Would Expect YOUR Hypocritical Ass to B FRONT & CENTER Bitching about It...

& Only the BIGGEST of DeLa DICKRIDERS Would Sit Here & Try to RATIONALIZE the JOKE of a Fight that this Is...& SPARE REED your BULLSHIT Spin Tactics, Dude...

Sure, Manny Pac is an "Elite" Fighter...SEVERAL DIVISIONS LOWER than Where DeLa Campaigns...That's the Portion of this that U REFUSE to Acknowledge...

GUARANfuckingTEED, DeLa will Say he's Facing "The Best Fighter N the World" & He WILL TOUT the Fight as Such...

Fully CLOTHED & SOAKING WET, Manny Pac is MAYBE 140lbs...Standing 5'5...N Other Words, he's SMALLER than Stevie Forbes who Also had NOfuckingBUSINESS Being N the Ring w/DeLa...

It's Fans like YOU (JUSTIFYING Bullshit Fights like This) that ALLOW Guys like DeLa to CONTINUE to MANIPULATE the Sport of Boxing...

He's fighting an opponent that is too small and has no realistic chance of winning, and selling it as a big fight. It's bullshit and a scam.

I love Pacman, and if they were the same size he'd crush Oscar, but to put it in perspective - as Neil said - when Pacman had recently moved to super bantam and was splattering ledwaba all over the ring, Oscar was fighting as a junior middleweight.

This fight is utterly stupid, and pacman has no realistic chance of winning, or even making it competitive actually, unless oscar does decide to make it a sparring match - which would also be pointless.

    Yep...

Neil Made THE BEST Point of this ENTIRE Thread...Manny had JUST Moved Up to 122 & Fought on a DeLa Undercard where he was Fighting @ 154...

ARGUABLY, Manny MAXED OUT (Weight Wise)@ 130...Despite his Fight Against David Diaz, Almost NOBODY Expects him to RULE 135 for any Length of Time...

NOW, DeLa has him Move Up 2 MORE DIVISIONS (& TRIED to Get him to Come N @ an Even HIGHER Weight than That:atu:) & Some DeLa DICKRIDERS Wanna Convince Us that this is a LEGIT Fight???...

If ANY Other "Name" Fighter Pulled a Stunt like This, DeLa DICKRIDERS Would B All Over him (Especially if it was Floyd or Roy)...But when it's THEIR Guy, they PATHETICALLY Rationalize it...

REED's Calling BULLSHIT on this Fight AND Any DeLa Fan that CO-Signs on this Nonsense...

This fight is a complete joke. And what I find kinda fucked up is that DLH wouldn't fight Tito cause they say the weight issue but yet it's all fine and dandy that Pacman will have the same type of weight issue going against him. This just knocked boxing back a couple of notches. I pray to God something happens and this fight gets cancelled. I'll Holla 5000

I was not aware that Floyd started his career at 106 like Pac. I was also not aware that mayweather jumped directly from 135 to 147 to fight Oscar.

Not even close to the same man. It would be far more impressive if Pac beat Oscar. Not to mention the fact that I guarantee you Pac doesn't run all night and it's an actual fight and not some garbage sparring session.

I never said that, I have already criticized Dela about this fight in another thread but you and others will criticize no matter what. There is a word for that...

And you are right I would take issue with someone like Floyd [ in his prime so called best l4l in the world] doing it and I have in the past.

Dela's CV is more than impressive and has nothing to prove. From Dela's perspective,He wants to check out against a big name that won't kick his ass at this stage of his career and Pac will earn more $$ than he could ever imagine.

Pac moving through the weights is without doubt more impressive than Floyd. He has some balls getting into the ring with a guy at Delas weight.

I agree Pac will not run!

U DON'T Know REED Very Well...

REED has Given DeLa CREDIT Numerous Times...So Direct your "Hater" INSINUATION to Someone Else...

The FACT REMAINS, this is a BULLSHIT Fight...Instead of Checking Out w/a MEANINGFUL Fight, DeLa's Checking Out w/a BOGUS Fight...& the "Name" Pacquiao Brings DOESN'T Alter That...Trying to Portray it as Anything OTHER than a BULLSHIT Fights Makes YOU look like a DeLa GROUPIE...

NEVER Has REED Seen a Guy, w/Such a DECIDED SIZE ADVANTAGE, Pursue a Fight to the Degree that DeLa has N this Case...& WHEN (Not if, but WHEN) he Starts Hyping Manny as "The Best Fighter N the World" & a "Challenge", it'll Make REED VOMIT...

Dude, a groupie is your eyes maybe. I'm a Dela fan but I keep an open mind when coming no here with my opinions.

I have never read anything positive about dela coming from you, but I'll take your word for it.

I have no problem with people getting on Dela's back over this fight but anything he does get hated on. Personally I'd like to see him check out against one of the top welters but it doesn't seem likely.

p.s Pac is IMO is the best in the world. But NOT the best challenge for Oscar.

    Absolutely.

DLH should have fought Forbes and Pacquaio at the same time. That would be an accomplishment and worth the ppv price.

    disagREED.

Especially if the fight were made at 140 (and I fully believe Floyd could still make 140 without hurting himself).

Floyd & Manny are perceived to be formerly #1 p4p & current P4P so I highly doubt there would be any flack.

In fact, I wouldn't be surprised to see Mayweather-Pac next year if/when Pac beats Oscar.
