    I don't remember ever seeing Wayne McCullough intimidated...even though he was out-matched signifiicnatly in some fights...not to mention his health problems and the BBBC mess.

    True that. My theory would be that even though Ali showed signs of fear, he was willing to face that fear and challenge himself in situations that looked unwinnable. Holmes perhaps didn't have the same passion

    Rocky Marciano seemed pretty fearless. He was calm too, enough to sleep in the dressing room before a fight.

    As for the actual question.... I'm surprised none has said Vargas yet. Say what you want about Nando, but win or lose, he never showed any fear or backed down from anyone.
