Well done by Calderon. The guy is due next time he steps into the ring with a young intelligent pressure fighter.

This was the first time I watched a Calderon fight in a while. I've avoided him since he stunk out a couple major PPV undercards a few years ago.

    He's still really boring.

I saw him once or twice. Calderon is easily the most boring fighter in history. He is up there or down there with cOREY sPINKS, jOHN rUIZ AND the post Trinidad Hopkins. Plus, he is the size of a malnourished 8 year old.

Good Lord, I don't think I've heard anyone whine so much recently as Cazares...even worse than the first fight.

To even imply that he was winning or that he lost because of the location is ridiculous.

Terrible sportsmanship. You expect all boxers - and hell, all athletes - to do a little bit of that, of course.

    But he's just getting stupid.

Too bad it ended early, though. But right man won and it was going pretty much like the first.

    Peace.

I disagree. I might slice open my stomach if I lost to 50 pound midget who could easily have won 75 gold medals in the olympics for running and greco-roman 150m without vaseline.

I agree it was a horrible display of sportsmanship. Cazares is a real jackass.

I didn;t think it was going like the first fight. I thought Calderon was a lot more dominant early in the first fight than he was this time. Calderon deserved to win, but I am not so sure how that fight would have turned out.

this fight was easier than the first one for Calderon.

Cazares was just so desperated and frustrated he was getting caught off balance and managed to rock him a few times.

Cazares actually wants a third fight instead fighting a guy his own size.

Of course he wants a 3rd fight. He was off to a better start than the first fight. He never got a chance at the late rounds to see what would happen. Calderon has slowed down late several times. He didn't exactly have a huge lead when the fight was stopped.

Seriously it's time for Cazares to move on and fight someone his own size like mentioned. Calderon got his #, he's simply better then Cazares.

yeah but he's had 19 rounds to prove he's better. That's more than enough to expose the truth - that he's not, nor does he belong at 108.

ruiz would be a 4 time champ if he had King's support to have these fights take place in America.

like him or not, he's done well for himself career-wise and financially.

what active heavyweight has a better resume than ruiz besides klitschko?

No he didn't. He lost a relatively close decision. I am not whining anyways so why call names?I bet on Calderon both times he fought Cazares. I am glad Calderon won, but it was far from decisive. Cazares was off to a better start than the first fight. I felt kind of fortunate the fight ended when it did. Cazares was coming on, and Calderon has a history of fading.
