LOL the Scot commentator basically saying Khan was chinless and completely finished at the top level. The other bloke suggested that "there will be an inquest into this", maybe into the matchmaker?

A combination of a bad chin and bad clock management. Like Illum said why jump up like that? take the fucking count! He could have stayed the course if he had been evasive and taken more time. His corner should have been prepared for this situation. Kahn was obviously not ready to go on when he went back right away, and he paid a hefty price for it.

Kahn's a young fighter, like Chavez. Can he learn from this? Well his chin might be a bit of a problem. was this guy a banger who he fought?

I don't care I believe young fighters can improve and do better if they learn from their mistakes.

I think even if he had 20 seconds to recover from the first KD, he wouldn't have been ready and the results the same. He was all over the place.

I just watched a good quality version... I had no idea Khan was still only 21. I forgot he was that young in the Olympics.

Watching the fight in the pub last night was the most surreal fight experience I've ever had. As Khan rolled over onto his stomach, the entire room literally burst into hysterical laughter. Me included.

Goddamn that boy has absolutely no punch resistance whatsoever. It's unreal how bad his chin is, and what is worse, he insists on offering it no protection with his left hand. He's still an abolsute sucker for overhand left and right hooks.

Hilarious- it was worth being wrong on him just to see Werren's face when Khan got iced. Well worth it.

I don't know Joe. Thats a possability for sure. The other possability is that if he takes a few more seconds he gets his brains back and he starts to evade prescott, makes it out of the round and gets back in the fight.

However he got pretty badly rocked with a jab and that is not good.

Look here is the thing: You guys are all right but where does it get us if nobody gives any support to young fighters? I mean all I ever hear on this board is how Chavez and how Kahn and this guy sucks....

Kahn now knows what its like to "feel so alive" was his beatin about on a level with yours? :hump:.

I said it before and I will say it again... I might even start a thread about it. Kahn is 21 years old. chavez is what? 22?

Young fighters can learn and get better. I refuse to shit on the young ons. A protected environment where the craft is learned is good for young fighters. Setbacks like this can be a learning experience as well.

I will gladly take the heat to support young guys on their way up. Who else will become the fighters of tomorrow?

I had that same thought, but what really annoyed me about Khan was the PPV.
Khan Dunne and the likes should never be in the same building as a PPV at this stage in their careers.

Remember Khan has been exposed in previous fights against bums. I don't think it's over for Khan he's still very young.

It's about time his team came back to reality. Imagine Amir against the top guys at light weight - lights-out.

There's no "learning" that chin. None. And there's a big fat target on it. Great amateur, good for him. But it's another story in the pros and his resembles Augie Sanchez.

First off I don't gamble and damn sure aint gonna bet $200 on some shit I can't control. As a matter of fact the last time I gambled was when I took ur pestos and I really didn't want ur money and that's why I gave u a chance win ur money back. Now if it was a fight between me and u it would be a no brainer I would def take ur money. I'll Holla 5000

Trying to make it personal, you FAT FUCK?

You WILL support frauds on their way up but you WON'T support proven fightyers like Antonio Margarito who have been around and proven their worth.:laughing::lol:

Makes about as much sense as a guy always talking about self discipline who can't even discipline himself at the dinner table. :atu:
