Why the fk does anyone care about Khan in the first place? Nevermind that he was KTFO out by a guy who hadn't beaten anyone, let alone proved himself against any decent competition?

I'll tell you why. Because Warren shoved him down our throats. And that accounts for the contempt for Khan and his whole career. The fact that he hadn't done shyte but was somehow popular and worthy as a PPV attraction?

And I think the same goes for Chavez Jr. Guy hasn't done shyte to deserve all the praise and accolades he gets from the media, not to mention the very discussion he receives here. He could very well sck and we wouldn't know it because he's overly protected, but at the same time, over exposed to the point where there's thousands of fighters who are better than him that don't even get mentioned.

I think this is why it might seem like we're shyting on our "up and comers," when in fact, we're simply not falling for promoters' B.S. and in fact our intelligence is insulted by it.

Exactly. So any hope for Khan is just blind optimism if we're being realistic about it.

With all the training and experienced in the world, the next time he gets cracked by a decent puncher, the result is going to be the same.

Augie's chin looks quite respectable next to Khan's.

 

What happened to Khan will be the same fate suffered by Chavez Jr. That punk has fought NOBODY in 40 fights and he rips off the public because of who his father is.

In the real world people often use their family connections to get ahead. Chavez gave a lot to boxing he deserves some nepotism::

Kan and juniorhave a lifetime to improve, fall down, etc. I do think that Kan's chin is a real problem and it is compounded considerably by his lack of D. But people have overcome foibles in the past to become good fighters.

 

Outside of John Ruiz, I can't think of a recent champion who got KTFO this early, this badly but such a weak opponent.

Even in the case of Ruiz, he got done in by Tua and Tua was always considered a dangerous puncher.
