......Joel Casamayor by Split Decision....but w/ no confidence...he is wayyyy past his best..even more so that Marquez...tough fight to pick..I'm donnybrooking it..i can see Marquez busting Casamayor up with the sharper punches...or Casamayor just mugging/fouling his way to a decision over the smaller Marquez...

marquez by decision. judges have fallen in love with the craft he shows imo, and clean punching will not be a problem for him.

casa's dirty antics will not be tolerated - won't be surprised if in losing he manages to get himself dq'd. the guy is the dirtiest and smelliest fighter in the game right now. btw: he lost to campbell imo, got his azz kicked by castillo, and lost to kid diamond as well. guy's a facade stink-fighter. they don't beat pure breds like JMM.

I think Double is exxagerating but on the right soapbox. I love Cuban fighters... But no dirty fighting Cuban fighter will beat the elegant M! Marquez will mug Casmayor at every turn and make him pay for his antics.

    Marquez by decision.

He's just a better overall fighter and technician, and doesn't need to resort to dirty fighting and stink to win.

I'll take Casa by wafer thin decision in a stinker of a fight instigated, almost solely, by Casa.

I really like and rate JMM and I thought he just did enough to beat Manny last time out, but he is in largely unchartered waters this time with the weight increase, and his chin isn't exactly granite to start with.

Moreover, whenever the chips are down and JMM needs to squeak through in the big fights, he always just seems to fall short. That is a bad habit to have when you are fighting Casa, who is a dirty, horrible but crafty bastard who, contrary to JMM, always seems to squeak through when his chips appear down and out.

I want JMM to win, and he has a good chance to do so, but I learned a long time ago (and forgot it to my cost last time round) that it is a bad idea to bet against that Cuban fucker. I can see him spoiling, brawling, butting and stinking his way to another controvesial W.

marquez in a close decision. JMM superior skills will help win many early rounds, then casa will start to walk him down as the fight progresses winning late rounds but too little too late...

word... with the addition that upon the decision being announced, Casa and whatever supporters he has left join in unison in screaming robbery.

in fact, no matter who wins this weekend, the losing side will sell it as the crime of the century.

i like marquez on points in a dull fight. can't remember the last time casamayor had a convincing win over an elite fighter (although marquez too, is clearly past his prime).

Yep. Good call, no matter what someone will cry foul.

And you know what? It could be that kind of fight. I like Marquez to get the decision.

Ugo, please stop trying to funny. Some people are funny, others aren't.

Take a long look in the mirror, friend. You simply aren't even a little bit humorous.

I seriously pick Casamayor in this fight. I was just too bored to reason it so I borrowed them from some other post.

But I will print this opinion of yours and store it. Just in case there will be a day that I actually care about your opinions, then I can re-read it.

The fact that this fight is happening sort of bothers me because it's one of those rare cases when you know going into the fight who the better fighter is. And so in my mind, the only way Casamayor can win is with dirty tactics and by exploiting his bigger size. You're certainly not going to see him win with clean punching.

If Casa manages to win, it will mean he'll have gotten away once again with his stink and it'll be another injustice for the sport.

I WANT Marquez to win...but dammit this just seems like the kind of fight where Casamayor just gets the benefit of the doubt by the judges on every close round (and I think there will be several ). In fact, I'll go so far as to say that the scoring will be as wide as possible for everyone who scores it round by round. I wouldn't want to be an official judge for this one...

    Official prediciton: Casamayor Majority decision.

    TOUGH Fight to Handicap...

BOTH Guys R PAST their Best, but Casa is Fuuuuuuuuuurther Down that Road...& Despite Fighting @ HEAVIER Weights Throughout their Careers, REED Doesn't Expect Casa to have a SIZE or STRENGTH Advantage...

REED is Inclined to Pick Marquez, but his Chin is Just WEAK Enough where REED Can't DEFINITIVELY Pick him to Beat Casa...

Since Marquez has MORE Left, he'll WIN the "Boxing" Battle...He'll BEAT Casa to the Punch & Frustrate Casa w/his Counters & Combo's...

If it Go's 12 Rounds, REED Likes Marquez Unanimously...But If it's a KO, then Casa will B the Winner...

OFFICIALLY, REED'll Pick Marquez by UD, w/Casa Making a FURIOUS Latter Rounds Rally (Even DROPPING Marquez & Nearly Stopping him N the Process)...

    Marquez by UD!

It will be competitive early but Casamayor will gas and start to foul as he always does.

There will be on controvesy about the outcome except for Casamayor and his scumbag translator.
