Yeah I remember they had that Love Connection skit w/ Mike Tyson and Robin Givens and Keenen was making fun of how Tyson uses big words every second.

He kept saying "ecstatic" all the time like "Yeah Chuck I had an ecstatic time! I just felt....ecstatic"

Chuck:"Tell us about when you got to meet Robins mom Mike"

    Mike/Keenen:"Yeah...she wasnt to ecstatic"

The Ray Leonard part was well done, but honestly, that skit really isn't funny. In living color was pretty awful, IMO.

I guess I don't have a proper perspective on the times. I was pretty young when the show was big.

yeah you beat me to it, how old are you now?, i think i was in middle school when the show came out, it was the biggest show on tv, everyone was watching and talking about it. i remeber i used to get mad about all the dancing on the show, where i would rather see skits than the fly girls doing the roger rabbit.

Carey was Better @ PHYSICAL Comedy, (Falling, Tripping, Making Faces & Shit), but Damon was a Better Skit WRITER & COMEDIAN...

Damon's TRUE Niche was STAND-UP, but he Didn't Do it Much...Instead, he Did BAD Movies:lol:...

Damon's Funny N "Major Payne" as Well, but it's SUBTLE...

I liked Bulletproof and the Great White Hype a lot. I also liked the movie where he was the Jazz player kidnapped by Dan Akroyd and Daniel Stern.

If REED Isn't Mistaken, "Great White Hype" was THE FIRST Instance of a Boxer (Real or Fictional) Being LED to the Ring by a Rapper...Method Man Did "Bring the Pain"

"Celtic Pride" (The Stern & Akroyd Flick)was Funny N Spots...

Damon Wayans has had Some DECENT Flicks w/Memorable Lines...But he's Had some SHITTY 1's as Well:lol:...

    "The Last BoyScout"..."Mo' Money"...TERRIBLE Movies...

But Damon's EASILY the Most TALENTED Wayans Brother...w/Out Him, "In Living Color" Would've FADED OUT N 2-3 Years...@ his BEST, Damon's a FUNNIER Stand-Up than Chris Rock, N REED's Opinion...

i agree with you, i also think tommy davidson is funnier stand up than chris rock. Chris Rock is funny, but its mostly pop culture not really clever imo.

Mo Money was kinda popular when it came out, people was feelin it over boomerang. well i dont know it might not have been big in the box office, im talking about in the black community.

i actually like damons movies, but they dont have high replay value, i actually thought Blankman was funny.

Damons voice fucks him up in those serious roles like the last boyscout, i remeber a few scenes at the end i couldnt take him serious talkin shit with a high pitched nasel voice. but any movie with halle berry as a stripper gets 2 thumbs up from me.

marci x i never saw, but i can imagine. bullet proof and GWh could have been good, but wasnt consistantly funny all the way through, and had jon lovitz in it, which isnt ever a good idea.

Bamboozled was a good movie, and that 5 seconds where he lets eddie take the banana in beverly hills cop, for the banana in the tail pipe

    this shit never gets old.

Whenever I catch a rerun of In living color I always tune in.

As far as who was the best performer on the show it's hard to say.

The thing with Damon Wayans is that as funny as he was he also was the one who fucked up the most on sketches.

Hell some of his fuck ups didn't even end un on blooopers. You can see him laughing on some of the sketches that were aired. Still funny though!

The Iron Mike and Leonard impressions are pretty funny.

The material in the sketch isn't funny at all, but the quality of the impersonations make up for that.

When Damon Wayons and Jim Carrey basically left "In Living Color" and Jamie Foxx and the the younger Wayons brothers started to get bigger roles the show went downhill fast.

During the first couple years "In Living Color" may have been the best sketch show ever for that short amount of time.

When Damon Wayon stand-up is on, he's one of the funniest fuckers on the planet. I'm kind of shocked he didn't become more of a star then he did.

Damn I forgot about Coles. I forgot how nice her ass was. Yeah that was the skiit, I was off a bit. Never heard about that shoulder biting thing, if so that shit is funny.

But my favourite Keenen impression was Arsenio Hall. Had the big gums and everything:lol:

Yeah, in its prime In Living Color is probably the best skit show ever, even though its prime was SHORT, you had to live back then to appreciate it I guess, I dont know how someone who saw it now would take it. BUt the talent on that show was ridiculous.
