shoes don't matter much I'd say. I wear some $8.99 ben wallace brand shoes and they are fine. I run five to six miles a day, five days a week.
Jesus, that's REALLY good. :bears: It's gonna take me awhile to get there. How tall are you? I'm 5ft7 so it's a bit of a disadvantage compared to people who are 6ft2 or so. Still, I am bound and determined to speed up my miles during my 10k run.
Wow, Massacure is giving us all a nice dose this morning. All that mountain air must be making him frisky. ::
im starting to dislike the mountain, there is always some woman there who on the verge of lapping me, i dont understand how some people are able to maintain that kinda pace going up that steep of a hill, maybe i need to work on my running technique.
It's when the ones with walkers are passing you that you need to worry. :: You're a big boy. You don't need to screw up your joints by going all out in the beginning. :nono:
I'm 5'3", rydell. there is this canyon nearby called runyon canyon but I mainly jus run on the treadmill
Ah, and how much do you weigh? I don't know if I asked this before. 5ft1, eh? Your legs must be moving like crazy. You must not weigh too too much to be able to sustain that pace all the way through, or you must have a long stride. I'm gonna have to work to get down to that time per mile. Pretty impressive actually! :bears:
I'm 30 and gringo. I guess as u get to ur 30s the metabolism slows cuz I never used to get above 125!
no doubt it slows.. i remember trying I mean TRYING to be 200lbs.. now I could live on a dessert island and live off of leaves and sticks and I'd be 200
Yeah, getting down is the hard part. I want to get down to 190 or below by Christmas. I actually think I could be 185 by then.
