IMHO, His win over Paul was more convincing than Paul's win over him.

    Seriously?

Honestly, I'd pick Williams to knock him out again in the rematch. Something was very different about the Williams Quitana fought the first time and the Williams that knocked him out. I don't think that knockout was a fluke because that was the first time I was seeing Williams throw that kind of Jab and insist on power instead of volume. I know it was a short fight and there's a possibility that Quintana got caught cold. But even if he doesn't get caught the same way in a third fight, I think Williams will break him down like Cotto did.

12 one-sided rounds to me are more convincing than a short KO.

I guess, but we aren't talking about a shutout here. Paul won four or five rounds the first time around.

    MAYBE four or five rounds.

Carlos was digging in his guts like a gardener.

considering quintana was able to handle williams over 12 rounds in their first fight and their rematch ended in less than 1, i don't see why he wouldnt think of the rematch as a fluke.

Let me guess, you're picking Quintana in the third fight, right?

Gotta give Quintana much credit for wanting a triology. I would love to see the fight just to make sure that the first fight was not a fluke and the second fight was not a fluke. The third fight is a must see. I'll Holla 5000

    ......

Of course Quintana wants the fight. it's not like he has big options or something. Quintana won the first fight 8-4 IMO but a KO is the most conclusive ending in boxing.

they are 1-1 and usually that warrants a trilogy.

It's kind of weird because both fights were completely different from one another.

I rather see Williams fight Quintana again than some no name fighter at 154 or 160 or whatever they have planned for him next.

A 3rd fight would certainly be interesting. Both fights were pretty conslusive, and as of others have said too - completely different.

I guess based on their second fight you'd have to pick Paul, but who knows, Quintana is obviously capable of beating him.
