He's good right now. Could potentially one day become very good. I dont see him being great.

He beats Hatton, and Malignaggi right now. Maybe beats Holt too, but I'm one of the few that thinks Holt is no push over.

Ortiz is a good prospect that could be a threat to Tim. I have yet to see Devon Alexander fight.

Tim beats Lamont Peterson right now.

I would pick Alexander and Malignaggi to beat Bradley. I give Ortiz and Hatton a good shot to beat him. I would pick Bradley over Holt and Torres.

I'm a Paulie fan, but theres no way I pick him over Bradley. Tim has a clear speed advantage over Paulie, and Paulie depends on speed.

Alexander I cant speak on cause like I said, I have yet to see him.

REED Saw Alexander on the Roy-Tito Undercard...He Beat Chop Chop Corley Rather Convincingly, but then Again, who HASN'T???...

REED Thinks it's a Bit EARLY for Alexander to Take on a Guy like Bradley, but REED Also Thought it was Toooooo Early for Bradley to Take on Witter:lol:...

Alexander has a GOOD Workrate, GOOD Stamina & a Nice Assortment of Punches...It'd B an Interesting Fight, but REED Would Postpone it til this Time NEXT Year if he were Handling Alexander...

True. So pretty much in the same boat with Lamont Peterson.

Holt is a threat to Bradly. Kendall is better technically than Bradley, has a bigger puncher, and comparable speed. The wildcard is Holt's crap chin.

REED's Only Seen that 1 Fight of Alexander's, but he WAS Stylistically Similar to Lamont Peterson Somewhat...Maybe a TAD Busier w/a TAD More Power...

Holt-Bradley Would B a GREAT "Eliminator" Type of Fight, w/the Winner DEFINITELY Deserving the Hatton-Malignaggi Winner...But REED Would Rather See Holt Settle the Score w/Torres 1st...

My pick on Paulie solely depends on him being 2 handed. Paulie 2 handed is the best 140lb fighter IMO.

Tim is good. I've never been that sold on him, but he's put together a good run. He should continue to improve but I see him as quite vulnerable.

Yup....and even his defensive stance and approach...hell, even down to the grunts when he punches (though Devon's are much more irritating than Juan's ).

bradley's defense and slickness reminds me of johnston while his explosiveness reminds me of mosley. too bad he's not a devastating puncher.

140 division is right open. he may or may not be the best and i wouldnt know who to pick if he were to fight kendall holt.

hold and bradley are both better than malignaggi though.

Joony, I said that before, Bradley REALLY reminds me of Johnston.

I don't really get the Mosley comparisons though, they are nothing alike.

Bradley is a very poor man's Mel Taylor IMO. Or at least, the Taylor comparison is a better one than the Mosley comparison. He fights NOTHING like Mosley at all.

Stevie Johnston is a decent comparison. Though Johnston in his prime was slicker than Bradley, and better technically skilled.

I agree, he fights NOTHING like Mosley, nor does he have similar movement or punching technique etc. That comparison is absurd.

His overall technique and style does remind me of Lil Stevie, but I agree that Johnston was certainly a better boxer.

Also with Bradley, he is a SOLID fighter, and I was very impressed with his win over the shitter. But something is missing, something that makes me think, yeah this guy is a top fighter. I'm not sure what though.

Well, he's a top tier guy for the division; I think he'd split 2-2 against guys like Torres, Holt, Hatton, and Malinaggi.

I think you mean 3-1. Only guy from that list who might beat Bradley is Holt.

The Hatton of a few years ago would beat Tim, but not today's version.

Forget Bradley (who looked pretty good again last night) why is Ricky Hatton "all but done at the top level"?

Just a hunch. He looked like crap against a VERY over the hill Lazcano.

I think the Floyd loss, plus age, plus Hatton's ring style, plus his lifestyle(drinking, getting fat) has added up and made Hatton a shell of what he once was.

SO why is Lazcano "very over the hill"? Yeah, he's old and fighters at his age SHOULD be shot...but i've never seen anything out of Lazcano that makes me think he's all that removed from what he was.

I think Hatton is regressing...but there's no fucking way he's finished. Especially @ 140, where there is fuck-all there.

I never said everybody at 140 would beat him. Paulie might if his hands hold up, but thats no safe bet.

Bradley certainly could at this point. Bradley is young, hungry, appears to be tough, and isnt without talent.

We're gonna have to wait until Nov 22 to find out how much Hatton truly has left.

Hands aren't the problem with Malignaggi. Hatton is. Thats what people picking Paulie need to be worrying about.

I agree that Bradley could beat Hatton. He looks pretty good....but my post is in direct response to the opening posters assertion that Hatton is finished.

Hatton is borderline shot. Watch the Lazcano fight, then watch him against Tszyu - a superior fighter - there is no comparison. Different fighter.

Completely finished? No, but he is no longer an elite fighter.

A few years ago Hatton would have beaten the likes of Bradley, but not now, and that's why is no longer an elite fighter.
