The whole fight was funny if you hate Mora. :atu:

 

I don't hate him, but I admit I find him irritating (though he's well-spoken and has a great story).

He was thoroughly outclassed tonight.

Forrest looked about as good as I've ever seen him above 147.

 

I felt bad for him afterward. That was a thrashing.

 

That's what I thought. It was just a difference Forrest from the first fight, he looked very sharp.

 

If Forrest sticks to boring boxing, he can outpoint anyone in these divisions.

 

Exactly. If he stops caring abbout fans, as he should, he could still be one of the best in the sport for a while

 

Vernon still ought to be ashamed. I don't care if he didn't train for a year.He should never, ever ever have lost to that scrub in the first place. Secondly, he should have kayo'd him.

 

I agree with the first part he should never lose to Mora.

Onto the second part. Mora is hard to KO because he is running and holding and doing everything to egt out of a fight. It's hard to KO somebody if they are just trying to survive.

 

For once I agree with you. Forrest going the distance with this guy tells me he's at the end of his rope. I won't even mention the 2nd fight. I wonder if Forrest could beat Mosley after a performance like that and what the hell happened to his power? It's basically only shown itself in the first Mosely fight and hasn't been seen or heard from since. :dunno:

 

Forrest is old. Thats no excuse for him LOSING to Mora, cuz he shoulda never lost to that bum, but its an excuse for him not stopping him.

Mora wouldnt have lasted the distance with the 2002 Forrest.
