There were two superfights that could have pushed women's boxing to another level that never got made:

Laila Ali vs. Ann Wolfe

and more importantly

Christy Martin vs. Lucia Rijker

and whoever was/is responsible for the Martin-Rijker fight not materializing should be ashamed of themselves, that would have been a great fight that would have gone on to be a great trilogy imo
