Fightnews says he's fighting Hector Munoz on October 4th at the Montreal Casino.

 

I remember what happened the last time Gatti fought a Munoz.

 

That was the weird temple shot and reaction, right? The fight that ended in 1?

 

Article says he's rated pretty high by the WBO. I'll try to take a look if I can on the 4th.

Ahhh, yes. That was right around the Gamache fiasco. It certainly isn't brought up as often.

 

Yeah. HBO pushed Gatti down our throats against consistantly overmatched opponents, after finding out that he wasn't so good afterall. Munoz was the real lowlight for mine, not Gamache.

 

I guess Gamache gets the ink because he was better known and it looked like Gatti cheated the scales.

 

All thats true. With Munoz, they cheated at the matchmaking.

 

Yeah I do remember that fight now. It had a really, really weird ending. He kind of fell away from the ref, it was strange. I was a fight watcher back then, but didn't come online so I don't really remember what happened afterwards.

 

Gatti must be broke.

Either that or Gomez whupped his ass so bad it erased his memory.
