and don't be so fucking simplistic please. it's not like there is only two categories of fighters you can fight and will always get bitched on.

BEST heavies doesn't have to be a shot at the champ.

And not the best doesn't have to be a complete bum. Not saying Barret is one but u could find someone in between Barret and Klitschko although it's not easy in this division.

Oh and i'm sure the same fans that bitch about DESERVING do this everytime someone goes up a weight class and wants to fight a champ in his very first fight. This is not about Haye. You know this is a message board u will always find some guys with another opinion. Hell there are even people who think Roy Jones wasn't that good... :notallthere:

I didn't bitch about anything. I wanted to see Haye/Klitschko right away. Barrett fucking sucks, and nothing changes that.

    I see your point.

At least Haye would have the puncher's chance against Wlad,...and if he got beat, well...he was an inexperienced guy at the heavyweight class.

I think that Barrett is dangerous at this point, simply because he has everything to gain and nothing to lose....and is at LEAST the biggest cruiserweight that Haye has fought.

Remember...Haye has never fought a true heavyweight. And NO, Bonin does not count

Nope, although he has fought at the weight, which is being overlooked by many.

Don't get me wrong, I like Haye as a fighter. But honestly, is Barrett even a top 20 guy in this division?

No. In earlier times he would have been but now that the division is strong he doesn't make it

With all due respect, Haye's claim of going straight to Klitschko was a whole lotta posturing. Everyone knew that Wlad had a mandatory due, and that he wasn't about to dump a title when he and his brother are so hell bent on owning all of the belts at the same time.

Not to mention that aiming for the very top heavyweight is really a no-lose situation for a cruiserweight moving up. I agree with you on the "deserves has nothing to do with it" line of thinking in regards to champs moving up in weight and jumping the line. But it's pretty damn clear that Team Haye would talk tough while ultimately traveling the path of least resistance.

I mean, they turned down Kevin fuckin' Johnson, for Christ's sake.

You guys are imo being ridicuous and... REED is absolutely right. Do you hear yourself? You and Tam among others, are bitching because Haye is trying to create publicity for himself.

Yeah Haye is a real prick for doing that!!! and he is a real prick for seeing an opportunity in a weak division to capitolize... what a prick! Thats really what a cruiser weight should do, they should step up when the heavies need a boost, and Haye is a champion, as Reed said, like it or not.

But here at fightbeat people bitch because the guy has to fight somoene. Bitch at Vlad, he is the one taking on weak opposition so he can fight his brother. And you have to be a real idiot is you don't think Peter is an accident waiting for Vitaly. Peter has nothing left and Vitali knows it.
