Julio´s people can´t possibly think about enforcing that mandatory. Dzinziruk is all wrong for him. Kotelnik/Salita would make a nice PPV fight for the Jones/Calzaghe card. Kotelnik will beat him silly. :crafty:
yep, you are right on both counts......Salita has been so protected that it has likely hindered his own development.....Kotelink will systematically take him apart, and fortunately for Salita and his people, doesn't have the power to completely ruin the boy's career, but certainly give it a reality check only time i saw Dzinziruk was against the vastly underrated Daniel Santos.....i was very impressed, and have been frustrated that his career hasn't kicked on since........so is that Julio fight set to take place in the states?....an impressive display could grab people's attention, but Julio does have genuine power if not an awful lot else
Euro's win both of these fights very easily. The Salita fight is a really good one for Kotelnik. A shame Salita sucks so bad, because you know his camp want to get him a title...but there's nobody he can beat @ or around140/147.
I recently saw Dzinziruk's win over Santos, and based on that... Julio's chances in this fight are very slim.
that was a few years ago. i think the ukranian has slipped a bit since. but then again, julio isn't very good.
I;m assuming Willie Lamont is really Willie Limond, who if I remember correctly dropped Khan last year before getting stopped. That fight aside, he's a modest-punching career 130/135 lb fighter, yet another safe pick for Salita Shit for that, just have Salita fight Julio Diaz and find a better third fight to air.
What a load of crap... Kotelnik fought Witter, Mbaye whoever in his backyard and turns down a payday against Salita in New York. Salita can't be stupid enough to think people will buy that shit... :atu:
I'm pretty sure Kotelink will have a genuine reason for pulling out of the fight......Salita's got nothing to keep Kotelink awake at night As for Limond....i wouldn't even write him off.....Salita's record is just a long list of bums (and he could only manage a draw against one of them).....Limond is no great shakes, but he can box a little....he's got decent speed and ability.....what could work against him is the weight....Limond is at most a lightweight, Salita was looking to challenge for Kotelink's 140 belt but perhaps now they'll lift the limit a little to suit Salita who hasn't made 140 for 3 years
In fairness, given Kotelnik's debatable losses to Witter and Mbaye, its hardly suprising he might hesitate to fight Salita in NY
