    I think Mayorga has a verygood/great chin

    considering his defense blows.. his chin is what keeps him in there

    True. Mayorga's chin has gone from overrated (after the Tito fight some hailed him as having one of the best chins ever) to severly underrated. Saying his chin is slightly above average is silly. The thing is, he had poor defense, he was not able to ride with punches and he often literally run into them because of his weak skills. Guys like James Toney for example are able to take away the power of opponents punches and get hurt less than it would seem but Mayorga could not. Just watch his fight with Tito: anybody who claims that he doesn't demonstrate a great chin there has forgotten the fight

    His chin is what made him a championship level player for all these years.

    Mayorga's Chin was NEVER LaMottaESQUE, but it was VERY GOOD @ 147 & Increasingly MORE PENETRABLE as he Moved Up N Weight...

    He does seem to have a tendency to roll INTO a punch
