The finger of blame should be pointed at the corner.....the ref really wasn't justified to stop the fight until the end of the 9th at the earliest......in that last round he did let it go on way too long but the corner should have got him out of there a lot sooner

Lampey goes over the top though.....he's seen bad shit happen before, and it isn't a point he should ignore, but his morbid tirade was too much....repeatedly shouting "GO DOWN, GO DOWN" within the boxers' earshot isn't in the textbook for objective blow-by-blow commentary

 

Too bad Joel Julio is fighting Dziriruk. I'd have loved to see him and Angulo fight. Julio certainly poses more of a threat than this Russian punching bag did.
