Abraham has about the best collection of highlight reel KO's in the sport right now, IMO.

Pavlik should be close, but Abraham's are against better comp.

Exactly. Guys like Gevor and Ayala have never been knocked down before, and they were out before they even hit the ground.

I would say Haye, no Cruiser could handle his power. Interesting to see if he can carry that power to HW.

He only fought four decent cruisers. One of them knocked him out.

Haye effectively knocked himself out. He spent six rounds trying to blast Thompson into the stratosphere, then he spent six minutes having a doze. It was like watching Benn-Watson again, except with fatter guys in the ring...

Anyway, the correct answer is Daniel Ponce de Leon, though honourable mentions go to:

    Katsidis
    Haye
    Abraham

Also, that Prescott kid who beat the holy shit out of Amir Khan looks like he can punch...

Fact of the matter is, if Haye was all-world puncher...Thompson would have been gone. Other cruisers got rid of him...and those other cruisers weren't facing the same old, shot version.

    Katsidis ain't no huge puncher.

Where did I say that Haye is the 'all-world puncher'? The Thompson loss was a stamina loss, not some kind of brutal beatdown as you tried to imply. Besides, Thompson is nothing if not durable.

Katsidis is a big puncher. It's about all he has.

I didn't try to imply anything. I said he didn't knock Thompson out, Thompson knocked him out. Thats exactly what fucking happened, man. You can say what you want, but Haye couldnt get rid of him and he DID land everything on Carl.

Thompson is durable? He's toughish...kinda like Danny Williams in that he could take a bit of clobber, but he had a shitty chin, IMO. Thompson got buzzed alot and got put away a couple of times by fellow cruisers.

I know Thompson knocked him out- I watched it as it happened. Not denying that for a second. You implied that I said Haye was 'the all world puncher'. I never said such a thing, nor would I say such a thing.

Haye can crack, but he most certainly is not some 'all world puncher'.

The Thompson fight I saw, Haye had him nearly out a couple of times, the cat hung in there much as he did against Rothmann, Haye failed to finish him off - an element of admiring his own work and being a 10 fight novice, and then gassed out. Haye is definitely a world class puncher IMO, he deserves to e considered here at least

Thompson fight is here for those who haven't seen it
