    Vitaly

I'm gonna hate myself for saying this, but I think the answer is Wlad Klitschko

  3. Free Ike

Free Ike WBC Silver Diamond Emeritus Champ

Why? All he can do is punch. He is a huge puncher. He is not a fighter on the inside. He doesn't have a good chin or good instincts in the ring.He is certainly good at punching.

its a sad day when a beta like Wlad Klitschko is the hardest puncher on earth

I watched the fight, and Katsidis lost comfortably. He was shit and his corner were worse.

    What's you point?

    MTF

They are? Haye can't punch then? Nor Abraham? How many of these guys fights have you seen, Jaws? If you think either can't punch, then you can't have seen many...

Oh, you picked the biggest puncher in the heaviest division. That's novel.

    MTF

I do think Wlad is a good choice. He has ridiculous power and the results when he actually throws are generally frightening.

So do I, as it goes. It just so happens that he is the obvious choice due to his weight...

My point is he is not a good puncher and u have no argument at all to say he is, because he never KOed someone worth a damn early.

I have to agree with MTF here, in their respective divisions they are/were unarguably one of the two best punchers around.

Arthur Abraham and Michael Katsidis are not two of the three biggest punchers in boxing, that is ridiculous.

  12. D MAN

My answers would be Wlad, Abraham, Pacqiauo, and Gamboa

The reason is that all of them hurt or knock down there opponents every time they land clean.. not many fighters do it so consistently.

you'd rate an unproven guy like gamboa but leave out a much more accomplished title holder in edwin valero???

    oh motherfucker.

I knew I was forgetting someone.

    Edwin Valero. end of thread.

Althogh I don't agree on AA, I don't have a big problem with it. Your Katsidis choice was awful.

Yeah, good call. I'd go with Valero too.

  17. Joe King

Vitaly hits harder than Wlad IMO.

  18. Ugotabe Kidding

Based on which KOs exactly? IMO pretty much the only fight where Vitali did demonstrate one-punch power against a world-class opponent was his destruction of Kirk. Williams, Sanders, Donald etc he broke down systematically

  19. adamiw

    adamiw Undisputed Champion

and he cracked Lewis a few times but couldn't put him down

Vitali is arguably the more aggressive of the brothers, and will get KO's where Wlad is happy to settle for points....but Wlad i think has better power when he chooses to exert it

  20. jarhead

    jarhead Undisputed Champion

    I would say Wlad

I would bet Miranda would argue that Pavlik hits harder than Abraham:nono:

How do you know? Vitali hasn't fought for years.

Who the hell has Valero KOed?

    I'll confirm this after Saturday.

Totally. Not saying you're wrong (although I still disagree) but there really no way of knowing how hard Vitali hits right now until we see him.

    U MISunderstood the Question...

It's Not who Valero has Fought but WHO Valero has Fought???:dunno:...

Valero just MIGHT B a GREAT Puncher OR, he just MIGHT B a Guy like Acelino Freitas, who ALSO Carried a 100% KO Ratio, Until he Started Stepping UP the Competition...

I understood, I just felt like messing with Tam. I know he really only has one semi-legit name on his resume. We'll see what happens when he steps up.

Wlad's an irrefuteably good choice, people come to expect him to knock other heavyweights out, and if he doesn't, american sportswriters go ape-shit, and cry for the 'good old days' when Buster Douglas ruled the roost.

  29. mikE

Freitas was a huge puncher. The Suarez curse ruined him.

The "Suarez Curse" DIDN'T Affect Prince Naseem Hamed's Power...
