I thought the first fight was a better fight all the way through. The rematch just had a more definitive conclusion.

Show me where i"ve EVER "hyped" up those fighters, otherwise just STFU. You don't have a leg to stand on. Kinda like Zab when he's caught on the chin.

Yeah, but Baldomir is a 154-160lb fighter who sweats down to welter, Judah is a 140lb fighter who struggles up to 147 and is still small at that weight. He never should have went north and it's the reason he lost so much at 147. If you rewatch the Baldomir fight the main reason Judah lost was because Baldomir just had no respect and no reaction to Judah's shots.

If Judah has any gas left in his tank I wouldn't be surprised at all to see him pull out some decent wins now that he's leveled the playing field by going back to 140. I'd pick him over Vivian Harris and I even give him a chance against Hatton.

Byrd was coming down from heavyweight.

It's a little different scenario here...especially since Judah was always more of a puncher than Byrd was.

Given what Judah showed against Clottey, I'd be interested to see him at 140 again.

Judah is diminished, Byrd was finished.

I give Zab an excellent chance at beating the Hatton we just saw vs Lazcano.

Both Judah & Hatton are well past it. Zab's stamina is shit, but Hatton's chin can certainly be dented by Zab's power, and Hatton's stamina isnt exactly Duran-like nowadays.

And Zab beats the hell outta Paulie, even if he was on his death bed. Paulie has no pop to get Zab's respect, and is a counterpuncher. Thats not gonna beat Judah.

The Zab of 7 years ago was MUCH quicker and sharper than today's version. Unforuntely he ran into a great fighter in Tszyu. But theres none at 140 currently who I'd pick over the 2000 version of Judah.

As sad as it is, I think Judah has more in the tank than Hatton.

Actually Byrd was a shot HW who went down to LHW. Probably an unprecedented scenerio. It likely doubled his shotness.

people overlook some of Judah's victories at 140 where he showed discipline and patience. for example, his wins over Quiroz, Ward and Witter. Judah needs to slow down and rela more. He did this against Quioroz, Ward and Witter,

Against Quioroz he wasn't being patient. He was pulling a Tarver and just not letting his hands go. Quioroz was so overmatched against Judah he could have taken him out whenever he wanted but he seemed to just get bored. Also Witter ran the whole fight so Judah had a hard time hitting him.

Don't try to make something out of nothing. Judah doesn't fight very smart. That's okay, he still has his talent to fall back on.

Judah will face the same problems he did at 147 which is mental breakdown. It doesn't matter if he is 140 or 147 he will likely lose a big fight because he fucks himself at some point of the fight.

I read somehwere it was offered to someone named Ashley Theophane.

Never seen Theopane fight, but maybe Rees was aiming too high.

Maybe they are going to fight, but the talk at the press conference in Houston was that if Oscar gets by Manny, he is fighting Hatton in Summer of 2009.
