With the rest of the of the year's schedule pretty much filled out and already some early talk of fights in '09, I figured it's worth taking a look at some fights you want to see next year.

Williams-Margarito II is a fight that's obviously going to be high on a lot of lists, as long as they're both champions at 147.

Pavlik-Abraham likely another popular choice, again with the caveat that both are holding hardware at 160.

One fight I'd really like to see...Chad Dawson-Tavoris Cloud. I mentioned this over the weekend, but with light heavyweight becoming a senior's tour, it's great that there's two young talents in the division...and with Cloud being the #1 contender it makes sense.

Another good fight that can reasonbly be made...Timothy Bradley and #1 contender Devon Alexander. There's a number of fighters on the cusp in this division Alexander's been one of the more talked about ones for a long time, but thanks to Don King's part-time promoter's status, he hasn't really gotten that much pub (outside of a few circles). This is an interesting pairing, as Bradley was in a similar position entering this year, and has now made a claim on the divisoin's top spot at 140.

Winky Wright versus a relevant fighter.

    Robert Guerrero vs. anybody.

Oleksandr Usyk and Vasyl Lomachenko in pro debuts.

One fight I don't care to see, but figure it'll get made...DLH-Hatton. If they both win their upcoming fights, it'll probably get made and will almost undoubtedly be a huge event.

Wanting Pavlik/Abraham is like wanted Lockett/Pavlik. This is a mismatch and Abraham might die. Wait...what was my point.Nevermind, I guess I want to see it then.

He certainly does not. Getting kayo'd in less than 3 minutes does not mean that scrub deserves a rematch.

I'd like to see the divisions get unified, specifically the welterweights.

You could make the arugment getting beaten clearly over 12 rounds doesn't merit a rematch either. Some called it a "schooling". ( I don't)

Quintana gave the rematch to Williams. Paul could do the same.

Retired softies who wear depends and take centrum should never be discussed in the same thread as a beast like Marge the Mullet, the hispanic career shortener:nono: Even though appealing to the real fans, when one starts out in Boxing, they never truly fathom becoming a name making millions yet ducking someone because "the risk isnt worth the reward". Such is Boxing

It's just that,.. this fight become taboo to even mention once upon a time,.. .. and every now and then I feel like I've got to ask permission just to pit them together, hypothetically.

It is a shame that it has come to this inevitable conclusion brother. I fear even when "Money" is using poli-grip to hold his dentures in place this topic will still be taboo, though I pray this is not so:pray:
