I'm shocked that theres been NO mention of this matchup at all. I'm looking forward to it. Andrade is one tough motherfucker, and I've never seen Bute, but by all acounts, his quite a technician. We'll see if he can duplicate the paint job Kessler did on Andrade, or whether Andrade will be too strong for him.
Bute has some skills but he's not in the same class as Kessler. Should still be too good for Andrade though, 9-3 / 8-4 type of fight.
Bute is good, but I'm not sure about his chin yet, something tells me that it isn't that good. He reacted weirdly to being punched in a fight against a stiff a few years ago, it might have been an aberation though. I think friday night's fight might answer my questions... I'll watch it for sure. Andrade brings it for sure.
Bute's pretty good. I'm not sure I'd call him a technician, though. Stance and style-wise, he's more similar to Calzaghe - but his build is taller and stronger...which is what makes a potential Kessler-Bute match-up intriguing to me. Kessler's performance against Andrade is a tough comparison for him because Bute's not the same kind of assertive offensive fighter. It's a good fight for him at this point of his career and a good fight for Showtime to broadcast.
He took some shots against Berrio and Bika. Both of those guys can bang, especially Berrio. So I think his chin is at least sturdy. But in those fights, he did seem to struggle to a degree with their aggression and workrate. I think Andrade gives dude a rough fight, and makes it close on the cards.
Bute fights like he has some Dominick Guinn in him. Andrade will test how much. You can´t cruise against Andrade. Very interesting fight.
bute looked devastating in stopping the great william joppy! :: he appears to have some goods but hasn't really been tested. he could be athletic enough to outpoint andrade, but i'd love to see andrade win via ko.
i think he'd also make a nice career as a human speed bag: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=U4v_JRwsrUc&feature=related
