PROVIDENCE (October 29, 2008) – The Contender, Season Three winner Sakio “The Scorpion†Bika plans to cash in after an impressive win November 13 against two-time world title challenger “The Pride of Providence†Peter Manfredo, Jr., runner-up in Season One of The Contender, for the vacant IBO super middleweight title in the 12-round main event headlining “Tough & Tested†at the newly renovated Dunkin’ Donuts Center in Providence, Rhode Island. “Tough & Tested,†promoted by the Tournament of Contenders in association with Jimmy Burchfield’s Classic Entertainment and Sports, Inc. IBF Pan Pacific super middleweight title-holder Bika (26-3-2. 16 KOs), a 2000 Cameroon Olympian now fighting out of Australia, won The Contender III with a dramatic eighth round stoppage of Bridgeport, Connecticut native Jaidon Codrington in the finale a year ago in Boston. http://fightbeat.com/news_details.php?NW=21915
C'mon man, you know it can be done. Dude goes life and death with Codrington and all of a sudden he cant be stopped? B-Hops shitkicks the guy, I should wake up too thinking Glen Johnson could ever be stopped...oh wait a minute::
Bika is no great fighter, but hes one of the toughest cunts on the face of the earth. Hopkins would most likely beat him by a mile...but stop him? No fucken way. Anything can happen, but the odds on a Hopkins KO result should be like 100:1.
To be honest, I'd pick a guy like Kessler to brutalize and stop Bika, if Kesslers fists play ping pong with Bikas face like he did Andrade, I don't think the guy could take it. He's got a real good chin but I just dont think Bikas Beak could hold up.
Kessler would beat up Bika, but again, I doubt he'd stop him. Bika is ultra aggressive and would most likely force Kessler to do a lot of holding. Sakio is crazy man tough.
When Hopkins was green! Or wait, was that his prime? Or is he in his prime now? Or does he have multiple primes? What does 10 years ago really mean when talking about Hopkins? ::
uh, he lost twice to Taylor and barely beat Wright. will you please concede that Pavlik was compromised, even if only a little bit?
Who's trolling? Seems to me all you do is make it a point to disagree, and rudely I might add, with everything I say. That's a troll. You know people are entitled to their opinions. And that means they're entitled to a civilized response to them. Not some jab from an angry know-it-all.
I like Bika, he is fan friendly and comes to fight, call me barbaric but I'd like to see Bika-Miranda or even Bika-Oganov add Lacy in there somehwere too :crafty:
