"Mighty" Mike Arnaoutis (21-2-2, 10KO) and Vinny Maddalone (31-4, 22KO) both came out victorious at the Roseland Ballroom in New York City in front of a packed house. Arnaoutis is solid. I still think he got a raw deal against Torres. He and Holt stunk it up in their fight, but I wouldn't mind seeing him get another crack at a title.
he won zero rounds vs holt and got knocked down silly in the end. arnoutis is good enough to lose against world class level guys. but then again, i'd give him a decent chance against a guy like kotelnik or malignaggi.
Arnaoutis definitely looked like crap against Holt, he lost one-sidedly, but neither did much to make it watchable. Still, if Torres is considered world class, Arnaoutis has shown compete on that level. I thought he beat him. And if you're giving him a "decent chance" against champions like Kotelnik and Malignaggi, that's two other world class opponents.
