Margarito-Mosley appears close to a deal for January

According to Robert Morales of BoxingScene, it seems this could be done within the next week or so.

This would be a good way to start off the '09 boxing calendar.

mosley's only chance is if margarito has bronchitis and a fucked up left shoulder.

 

This would have been such a simple fight for Shane back in 2000/2001.


Now Margarito will either decision him clearly or possibly stop him late.

 

I wish Shane would have fought Marge way back when.

Unfortunately his chances are minimal now.

I don't think Marge stops him, but wins a clear 8-4 type decision, and Mosley looks like a shell of his former self.

 

I remember a couple of years ago when Shane wouldn't fight Margarito because he needed 2 tune ups first. After the tune ups he kind of forgot about fighting Margarito.

My point is that Shane wasn't in a hurry to fight him a couple of years ago when he was closer to his prime.

A prime Shane would have probably beaten him but far from an easy fight.

Either way Shane will get killed in January.

 

I have a bad feeling about this fight... Shane is going to get punished and he won't quit.

 

That's ridiculous. Shane is absolutely not a kill or be killed fighter. Shane wil run and hold as soon as Margarito punches him. Shane was castrated as soon as Forrest clipped him. Shane doesn't have the balls to get stopped. He will hold and stink it out.
