I'm pretty sure that's what he's going to do. He's said he wants only big fights after the Cote fight. Now with that out of the way, I really thnk his only option to make interesting fights is to move up. I hear Chuck Liddell may be an option.

I may be in the minority, but I think Silva has a better than 50/50 chance of beating any of those guys. If he wants the 205 lb belt and Silva/White give him a chance, he can win it.

However, I would love to see his next fight at 205 be against Machida with the winner earning a title shot. I think Lyoto would be a very difficult match-up for Silva.

I think that Silva and Machida are friends. I don't think they'll ever fight. It would be an interesting fight though.

Henderson has a better resume, better skills and has beaten better fighters then Franklin. Hes stood up to punches and kicks from bigger more powerful fighters then Franklin. Only fighter gonna get KTFO in this fight is hypejob Frankiln.

The fact that you keep refering to Franklin as a hypejob is a testament to how little you know about MMA.

He is overrated yes, but he is definitely not a hypejob. He's a solid, capable fighter, just not elite.

Unless Hendo is totally shot, he should surely beat Franklin though.

he is 33 years old and has a 1-1 boxing record. WHat makes you think he would ever make it to fighting someone who is elite?

This boxing>mma or mma>boxing crap is really tired.

He should learn how to hit a curveball, then he could make some REAL money once he makes it to the majors.

elite boxers can make more money in one fight than most top MMA fighters make in their careers, or are you denying this ?

Did you read Gatti's post?:bangh: He didn't say anything about elite fighters making anything. He actually stated that he doesn't think Anderson could ever make it to fight at an elite level therefore being 33 years old, what the fuck is the point? :dunno:

Just a hint, reading and understanding the post before you critique it helps.

Thats exactly why hes a hypejob. He hasn't beaten anybody good. When he fought a real fighter he looked like a deer in the lights.

OK so you agree that boxers make more money, but you think Silva should keep on fighting for peanuts.:bears: Let's just keep getting the rich richer and poor poorer. Go America!

If you haven't noticed I am using IandI logic in a obviously losing argument.

There are only a few fighters making that kind of money. Hell, Kimbo was making a half million dollars to fight. Tim Sylvia just made 800K for the Fedor fight. Liddell and Couture have each made at least that much in certain fights. I really don't think there is as huge a difference in pay as people think. How many boxers ever even make close to that much? Only the top draws do.

I want to see Anderson fight Kang, Filho, and Cung Le at middleweight.

At lightheavy, Shogun, Machida, Vanderlei, and whoever the champ is although I wouldn't mind seeing him fight Chuck either.

Alex Rodriguez made $27 Million Dollars last season to play 3rd base, but De La Hoya should just keep risking his life in boxing.
