Is it Noriega? Mir? Couture? Or Brock Lesnar? Is it some other guy? Who has the best shot at beating Fedor Emilianenko?
It's Probably Gonna Take a Fighter that's FREAKISH N Some Regard, to Beat Fedor... It's Silly to Suggest it NOW, but if Brock Lesnar Learned to AVOID Submissions & if he Can Actually TAKE a Punch, he'd B a Candidate N REED"s Opinion... Lesnar is FREAKISHLY STRONG...When he's Got a Hold of Guys, they Do WHATEVER He Wants them to Do...Heath Herring & Frank Mir R LARGE Men, yet Lesnar MANHANDLED Each of them Physically...He Treated them like they were 5 Year Old Girls::... Give Lesnar Another Year or 2 of MMA SEASONING (Learning Moves, Defenses, BROADENING All Facets of his Game), Coupled w/Another Year of 2 of AGING on Fedor's Part, & he just MIGHT B the Guy... There are so many ways to lose an MMA fight, that no fighter is unbeatable, and you often see great fighters lose to lesser fighters, much more so than in boxing, especially if they take that fighter lightly. So when Fedor loses, it's gonna be to someone the whole world is expecting him to walk right through. It won't be Arlovski though. In fact, I think the Fedor\Arlovski fight is gonna suck. Arlovski has a real bad habit of not wanting to mix it up after he gets hit cleanly, and if Fedor hits him, Andrei isn't gonna want any part of it, and he'll be on his bicycle the entire fight. TFK
Completely agreed on that and agreed also on that Lesnar just could be your man. In combats you don't have to be all-around better than your opponent, it is enough if you have one greater attribute and you can take advantage of it. So guy with huge strength or one-punch power could win it. Also, as said before, anyhting can happen in this sport, even Mark Hunt came pretty close of pulling it off
It'll be someone unexpected (of course at this point everyone is "unexpected" to say the least when it comes to beating Fedor)... However, it will not be some roid monkey pseudo-bum like Lesnar. Randy should knock / choke him out this weekend anyway.
