I do agree with you on one thing though, referring to that "fight" yesterday as one of the most exciting heavyweight fights of the decade, or in years, or whatever, is one of the most preposterous things I've ever read.

Haye beating up a shot, average heavyweight, who as whiskey said - looked like he should be fighting in a toughman competition - was somehow exciting? :dunno: :notallthere:

 

Dude, I don't run up here proclaiming Aussie fighters as the next anything and when I do, it'll be the first time. Boxing in my country isn't even a sport, its a farce. On friday night, we had a card promoted as the big and small of boxing. We had a hevyweight main event...and midgets fighting for the "AUstralian little man championship" as the main support. Being better than Aussie boxing is hardly anything to crow over.

That's pretty funny. I've seen a couple of Aussie broadcasts, they are somewhat farcical. LOVE the slow mo.

British fans are often quite annoying though, it can't be denied. The guys on here are generally cool, but fuck me, I remember in the hamed days I wanted to slaughter most fellow Brit boxing fans.

I do think though, that British commentators are perhaps even worse than British fans. Such obscene nuthuggery and bullshit.

Tam Tam please,.. Australia's heavyweight division is underrated, it always has been.

With that said,.. if I had the size and skill of say,.. who's a scrub?..Monte Barret will do,.. I would strictly stay at home in OZ,..and compile a record of 952 - 0,.. yes I would have to have fought the same couple of registered domestic monsters 200 times,.. but in the end, it would have to be a record of some sort..?.. Maybe a small plaque in the hall?, a mere mention somewhere?..
