I've just been sour and salty since the demise of Pride and the failures of any potential competition against the UFC. Bodog, Elite, and many others have failed. I don't know what's up with Affliction.
They will fail too. These guys need to stop thinking they can come in a be as big as the UFC in a couple of shows. It just isn't going to happen. Look at the history of the UFC, they are over 100 shows and 15 years deep. Check out strikeforce, they are going about it the right way. Start small, build a local following and grow from there. I'm going to the Strikeforce card this Friday btw.
