It was like he was trying to solve a math equation in his head, wll the while taking a beating from Joe.

RJJ is done. His sole goal now is to not get knocked out. As a result, only against very mediocre and slow opposition will he ever look half-way decent.

can a rational boxing fan NOT be a complainer? it's the ones who don't who have had the kool-aid and are without the insight to see the forrest for the trees.

    Here's YOUR M.O., Doub...

U BITCHED about Ricky Hatton for YEARS, while TRUMPETING the Cause of Jose Luis Castillo...YET, when Hatton WAXED Castillo, YOU STILL BITCHED & MOANED about Hatton...

Your SIG Refers to "Stink", yet there was NARY a TRACE of it when Hatton WAXED Castillo....

Back N the Day, U BITCHED about Roy's Oppostion, THEN, when Roy Signed to Face WHOlio Gonzalez, U BOLDLY PICKED Gonzalez...But AFTER Roy EMBARRASSED Gonzalez for 12 Fucking Rounds, U Said your Prediction was "Facetious" & U CONTINUED N your HATRED of Roy:boohoo:...

Sure, there's Times when Boxing DESERVES to B Criticized, but N YOUR Case, U're Professional COMPLAINER...Basically, if U're Not BITCHING, U're Not POSTING...

Roy actually fought a ballsy fight against Joe C. He knew he had no chance of winning and took a beating in the process.

I don't think so; I would rather see him do what he did in previous fights such as <?xml:namespace prefix = st1 ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:eek:ffice:smarttags" /><st1:place w:st="on">Trinidad</st1:place>, Hanshaw, The Prince cat. At least when he fought those guys he was setting stuff up going to the body, throwing hooks, using his uppercut. The fight with Joe he barely did any of that, Joe gave him plenty of chances to let his hands go by having his chin out and his hands to his side. But <st1:City w:st="on"><st1:place w:st="on">Roy</st1:place></st1:City> was too scared to throw a punch except only to throw the sneak right hand that was seen a mile away from Joe. As I said before I am not saying <st1:place w:st="on"><st1:City w:st="on">Roy</st1:City></st1:place> would have won the fight but he could tried a little more when his Plan A didn’t work. <?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:eek:ffice:eek:ffice" /><o:p></o:p>
    <o:p></o:p>
Just read interview with Glenn Johnson it pretty much sums it up for me as well about <st1:City w:st="on"><st1:place w:st="on">Roy</st1:place></st1:City> even being a long time fan. <o:p></o:p>
    <o:p></o:p>

“I spoke with Roy Jones Jr and he made it clear to me that he would fight you again, is that something that interests you?

GJ: I'm a fan of Roy Jones and I think if the man can't bring a fight to me, there's a payday there, but I want to give the people entertaining fights. Roy Jones doesn't seem like he's going to bring a challenge to the ring, I'd love to make the money he brings to the table, but if I can't entertain the public when I'm making them, then I feel like I'm raping the people and I don't want to be a part of that.â€￾<o:p></o:p>

It's not clear if you want our respect, but it's clear that you want our attention. You say the complete opposite to the board consensus all of the time. No one can be that dumb. If you are, then congratulations.

It's ironic that this guy's posting style seems to be the clutching, stink-filled, negative, boring equivalent of the type of boxing he despises and bitches about all the time.

Its funny that people here want to shit on Oscar for the Pac fight. Isn't Pac supposed to be #1 p4p? I heard people cry for years that Roy wouldn't fight heavyweights when he was #1. Now people want to shit on Oscar when the number 1 p4p fighter takes a risk and gives up a size disadvantage to do it. Pac is just another HOF fighter on Oscars rediculous resume.

The thing with Roy is, if he never said it (and not just that he said it, but repeated it, and even claimed it was God's destiny for him to fight and beat Evander Holyfield at one point), nobody would've paid it much mind. But the fact is that he kept saying it, and at a time when he wasn't terribly interested in making a fight w/ Dariusz, or even Tarver (the infamous letter-writing campaign). Even worse was when he pulled out of the fight w/ Buster Douglas.

I really don't care about the fight, but dislike it for reasons other than those posted by most. I don't like that the weight puts both fighters at their worst. Oscar already looks malnourished, and Pacquiao's basically fighting at his walk-around weight.

oscar deserves to be shitted on for this fight...this fight will not enhance oscar's legacy one iota...all it will do is finally garner him a win against a P4P fighter and fatten his wallet.

ALL credit goes to pac for his willingness to accept the challenge....the money isn't bad either.

Pac will give Oscar problems in this fight and its not like Oscar can easily make 147lbs now. I know he says he is 145lbs now but using Oscar Mathmatics (simply adding a number ooo lets say 10lbs to the weight Oscar says he is) he probably weighs 155 right now give or take 3-4 lbs.

i've criticized and lost respect for ODH from day 1 since he pursued a fight with Pacquaio.

And my opinion of PBF aside, I thought ODH cheated himself and the public against PBF.

I was also upset with ODH when he hinted at having a fight with Hatton.

And I wish he'd fight Wright, or Forrest or Verno Phillips, Margarito or Paul Williams.

He's become too much of a business man and has little shame apparently and in many cases he rips the public off with his PPVs.

I was happy to see De Leon get his clock cleaned but my guess is ODH knew that would be De Leon's cash-out fight.

I was just pissed. Finally a match-up comes along where I support RJJ and feel psyched about rooting for him and not only did he not try to win, but he robbed the public of what could've been a great fight.
