I'm sure it is. Refs don't allow this yet Yamasaki, the ref, did nothing. He obviously didn't see it. Couture should've gotten 5 minutes.

It Appeared to B Just ABOVE the Ear, N REED's Opinion...Couture Certainly WASN'T Complaining about Getting Hit w/an "Illegal" Blow...

That's cause he's a good sportsman and obviously was dazed and probably didn't remember it. But the shot did land in the rear as he tried dodging. Where's the video clip?

Anyone who says that was an illegal shot is a retard.

Are you a retard Hanzy?

He threw a hook and it landed behind the ear on the SIDE of the head. NOT THE BACK OF THE HEAD.

It was that kind of shot which prompted Mazzagatti to stop Lesnar/Mir in the middle. Hooks to the side of the head.

Couture unwittingly ducked into it. Brock was aiming for his face/head, but Randy moved. That wasn't Brock's fault. :dunno:

The side of the head is legal. Might as well make it illegal to throw a hook if you can't hit the side of the head. Many a KO has come from that shot on or right behind the ear.

Suck on that Hanzy come lately TUF noob!

I can tell by your blasting of the sport and general hate that you must really be a fan.

I'm running with the ball is all. I'm a pro wrestling freak since birth so if they come in and dominate MMA, who am I to complain?
I'm not blasting the sport. I've just been sour and salty since the demise of Pride and the failures of any potential competition against the UFC. Bodog, Elite, and many others have failed. I don't know what's up with Affliction.

They will fail too. These guys need to stop thinking they can come in a be as big as the UFC in a couple of shows. It just isn't going to happen. Look at the history of the UFC, they are over 100 shows and 15 years deep. Check out strikeforce, they are going about it the right way. Start small, build a local following and grow from there.

I'm going to the Strikeforce card this Friday btw.

It was actually that TUF show that exploded the UFC, particularly the Griffin/Bonnar fight. A little bit of luck you could say.
    You're going to StrikeForce? Cool!

    Yeah TUF helped for sure.

Yep, going to Strike Force. Who at fightbeat is in charge of getting me good seats for free?

I'll just be getting cheap seats. A bunch of us decided to go last minute and I am not paying 200 bucks for good seats.

That should be a pretty good show. Smith and Martin should be a standing slugfest while it last.
