Its all good....but I would like to see Silva fight a real threat at 205.I've noticed the UFC has been careful with his matchmaking lately.

there is an interview with dana WHite on The Score right now, he said Silva will fight in the spring probably at 205. H ealsi hinter that it could be Liddell. BJ Penn and GSP about to come out to the studio.

Unlike football, when it comes to MMA and Boxing I usually pick what I want to happen as opposed to what I think will happen.

But, Silvs may be a better technical striker than Evans, but I would give the power edge to the naturally bigger Evans who used to be a HW.

That being said, I agree that Silva has the power to stop Chuck who has really looked punchy in his last few fights including the win over Wanderlai.

Dana is definitely cashing out on Liddell. This will be such an overwhelmed mismatch. I agree with BYG, they are being extremely careful with Anderson's matchmaking at 205.

Silva should challenge the Griffin - Evans winner after that fight and then retire as one of the greatest ever :hammert:

Considering Roy can't beat any good boxers at boxing, I guess his only hope is to box someone who isn't really a boxer.

    true.

and beating a guy who is 1-1 as a pro boxer would be rjjp4p's proof that boxing is vastly superior to mma.

for the record, boxing > mma for me, but some of these guys are ridiculous.

Kimbo vs. Chuck seems like a more reasonable fight or maybe Kimbo and Chuck vs. Silva. But it´s good to see UFC is taking the same direction as boxing of old washed up has beens headlining PPVs. All they need is a shitty undercard with five boring distance fights. :bears:

The big difference is that Liddell-Silva will still be entertaining unlike watching a washed up Jones or a washed up Holyfield.

And I still think the fight will be more competitive than people think.
