Veeraphol Sahaprom fought for a WBC International title in his pro debut, and a world title against Daorung Chuvatana in his fourth pro fight. He won both.

For that matter, amateur champ Pete Rademacher fought Floyd Patterson for the world title in his pro boxing debut and knocked Floyd down in the second round.

I'll take the 2-1 boxer if he's an "incredible athlete"

How about guy out of the crowd versus championship level MMA fighter.

I don't know about "champion level" but i saw a youtube vid of a guy out of the crowd that KO'd an mma fighter at some event. (yes in the ring)

Steve, you are my boy, but the dipshit Triplesec has a point. Yours is a poor analogy. It is not a 2-1 boxer. It would be a former wwe star, a former wrestler, who tried boxing, went 2-1 and then knocked Bernard Hopkins out cold in the second round.

You're such a homo. Just don't watch MMA if you hate it so much. Same for you Ike. MMA will not miss either of you.

Randy Couture's record prior to losing to Lesnar was 16-8. He's 16-9 now. He won the title coming off a KO loss to a light heavyweight. If you think he is even close to the best ever, you know less than I thought.

I have been watching MMA for a lot longer than you, Z. I enjoy it like I enjoy a bad comedy movie every now and then.

You know this how? You have no idea when I started watching MMA.

If the answer if not before 1993, you lose.

I ordered UFC 1 live on ppv back in 93, that was a great event. Before then, I was ordering shoot wrestling which I think was fixed to some degree. Interesting seeing Bad News Allen competing in there despite his advanced years. Dude was 50 years old and still giving young dudes a hell of a fight.
