Round 1: Fighters meet at the center of the ring. Paulie twitching like Ali, Hatton lands the first meaningful punch of the round as a left hook scores. Paulie landing his jab, and finally a hook over the top. Hatton lands a good couple of body shots. Hatton lands a good uppercut, and Paulie fires back with two good jabs and a right hand. Hatton having trouble getting inside. Close round, probably to Malignaggi.

Round 2: Hatton trying to get inside in a measured fashion. Malignaggi contibues to try and time Hatton coming in. Paulie getting his Greg LeMond as the crowd making an absurd amount of noise. Hatton lands a few good punches, as the action continues to be tight. Malignaggi holding and moving, huge right hand by Hatton hurts Paulie. Malignaggi hurt bad, as Hatton tries to follow up. Good close of the round by Hatton.

Hatton lands a good counter, as Paulie tries to find a home for anything. Good bodyshots by Hatton, HUGE left hook by Hatton, followed by a lunging right. Malignaggi has no answer for Ricky's assault.

Not a very interesting round, but Hatton doing the better work.
