All Hatton has to do is land about 3-5 solid punches and Paulie will find a place to lay down. I'll Holla 5000
We're getting to the part of the fight where dsimon said Paulie would win by late stoppage. It'll be his first stoppage win in 5.5 years.
Round 9: Hatton throws, lands a good left hook. Hatton attempting to rough up Paulie, who is content to hold and clinch. Neither guy doing much of anything. Hatton stuns Paulie again with his left. Hatton busier, landing punches in between the holding. Shitty fight, shitty round 10-9 Hatton 88-83 Hatton.
Round 10: Hatton comes out firing in round 10. Commentators arguing about how good Paulie is, which going by this fight is not good at all. Merchant spot on about Paulie's bicycle riding. This fight is basura, malignaggi mailed it in 9 rounds ago. Hatton busier, stronger, better in every way. One guy trying to fight, the other not trying to fight. Hatton lands a good shot at the end of the round. 10-9 Hatton 98-92 Hatton
Pac would have trouble not killing Paulie. Paulie's going to look back at this fight and be embarrassed.
Round 11: Hatton mauling Malignaggi...Paulie's corner throwing in the Towel:: Hatton wins in a landslide.
I wish they would cancel the ODLH-Pac fight and sign a two fight deal between Hatton and Pac. One fight in Manchester and one in Manila. Both at 140. opcorn:
I agree with Paulie that Mcgirt shouldn't thrown the towel, Maggnigliani fought to survive since the 3 round and was not hurt at the end. Don't get me wrong, he fought a very dissapointing and even cowardly fight, he kept holding and barely threw punches. The ref should have taken at least a point away.
pac would fuck hatton's face up if he lands some straight lefts, but hatton would still beat him w/ ease. hatton's not skilled enough to beat top fighters at 147, but he's very very strong and powerful at 140.
Just finished watching and that's exactly what i was thinking, it was like poor man's Chavez-Camacho. I can understand Paulie being a bit upset that the fight was stopped because now there's a "KO on his record", but if he did more to keep himself in the fight his corner wouldn't have thought about stopping it. All he did was flick jabs and clinch and get beaten up in the process. As a previous posted noted, that's it for Malinaggi on HBO. Good riddance.
