That's Because Mayorga HASN'T Committed Himself to ANY Division N the Last Few Years...He Fought Tito @ 160, Vargas @ Supermiddle & Shane @ Jr. Middle...

But If Mayorga COMMITTED Himself to a Particular Division, he WOULD B Top 10 Contender...The Mere FACT that Mayorga's Fought BIG Fights @ VARIOUS Weight Classes ILLUSTRATES his SUPERIORITY to Lovemore N'Dou...

Can I borrow your time machine REED? You're obviously going back to a time when Mayorga wasn't shot.

Send me to 2003 and I'll agree with you. Today's Mayorga isn't the same guy who beat Forrest.

    What don't you get?

You said Angulo is a better fighter than Paulie. That is not proven.

You keep bringing up wins Mayorga had in 2003, but what does that mean today? It's 2008 now, 5 years later. Are you saying he's the same as he was then?

N'dou is ranked higher than Mayorga right now.

Yes, we all know Forrest was a long time ago, and we all know Mayo is pretty much shot, but it's still relevant that Mayo's wins over Forrest are better than Ndou's whole career.

And even this shot Mayo is still a better fighter than Ndou.

Who said Mayorga's win over Forrest doesnt trump anything N'Dou ever did? Who?

The topic is RIGHT NOW which Mayorga boosters seem to have trouble with. Mayorga is gutter trash and is going to get slaughtered. Just wait and see. No point in discussing it any further.

OK forget about accomplishments, right now Mayo is a better fighter than Ndou, and would beat him if they were the same size.

I didn't think Mayorga looked too bad vs Mosley....if he comes in motivated and not disinterested in this apparent role as a gatekeeper, then i'd back him to cause the upset.....it is a good match

To be honest I wasn't even aware of those losses, I didn't pay much attention to his pre fame record. I sort of assumed he was undefeated when he came onto the scene.

That's because I always win. You don't have the stamina to compete with me Tam. Too much red wine. Maybe too much sun too, it's draining you.

    I bet you're a vegetarian too, hippy.

I thought it was sugar levels you had to be concerned about? I know a diabetic, and he eats meat almost every day.

Thats cool. All our bodies react differently, mate. Not all diabetics are the same and only about 5-10% are insulin dependant, like I am.

I guess I was a bit too subtle in saying...

Yes, Mayo's stronger than the other pugs Angulo's faced... but still another in a growing list of not so tough to find type fighters.

And if Angulo doesn't beat Mayorga easy, it's time for the currently formed half-assed bandwagon to rethink its take. So I guess we basically disagree with every facet of this fight

I am not sold on Angulo. I like him as a prospect but can't really tell how good he will be yet.

If he beats Mayorga easy it will mean alot. Regardless of what people think of Mayorga he has only been humiliated but elite fighters as of late.

Nah, I read that line. But being seasoned has nothing to do with it really. Seasoning is unrelated to chin and power. It's not his seasoning that Angulo has to be concerned about, it's Mayo's chin, guts, and punch.

Mayo is not a monster puncher, and he IS borderline shot, but he still hits harder than anyone else Angulo has fought, and is going to be able to absorb more punishment than anyone else angulo has fought.
