Arreola is starting to get annoying, he got a lot of talent but his schtick is getting old. He pulled the same shit vs Garcia and said that he disappointed even himself by coming so fat, what he does next in the most important fight of his career to date, he still come in fat and play the mea culpa card once again. I like Chris a lot and have never seen Walker fight but I wouldnt mind an upset so much

 

I can see being dissapointed in yourself after a poor performance. However if you continue to be out of shape, it's not as if you can make any excuses. It's not as if you're overweight and don't notice it.

I think it's more of a case of being lazy and feeling sorry for himself, rather than being genuinely "dissapointed".

Why is it that every supposed hetero male boxing fan feels the need to see hot bodies from the fighters?

 

Because fighters coming in shape is usually indicative of their training regiment. And in this case, it tells us that Arreola is not properly training.

I know this as a fact as Arreola is a local fighter here where I live and I know numerous people who are within his inner circle. From what I hear, Arreola is not the most focused fighter and does not take his training seriously at all. That is not good news for Arreola fans for sure.

 

It's not the way they look. Larry Holmes never looked like an Adonis. It's the way a guy fights. If a fighter carries some extra pounds but still fights ala James Toney, i don't care that much. Although he could still be criticized for not getting into great condition which is expected of a professional.

Toney on the other hand is a lazy fuck that can hang with anyone at the drop of a hat. His lack of conditioning is a detriment to him, not an advantage.

The problem is with guys who lack talent, but have just enough experience and skills to get in the ring. Their size alone allows them to hug and hold opponents. They don't need to be in shape because they get rest leaning their fat asses on their opposition.

That's the disgusting part, not the lack of 'abs'.

 

The problem, is that while he fights at a good clip he coulld be in better condition. There's no doubt about it. A guy who is carrying a good 30 pounds more than he should (and thats just his tits) isn't going to be able to do the things he could do if he was in his best shape. And don't even try to tell me that "every body is different". No shit. No fat cunt is different enough for me to believe he's better suited to be that fat cunt.

 

What if he's got a glass body?.. a bit of extra padding around the pouch works aswell as a tortise shell, all he'd need to do is a few squats on the calves to help carry it around a bit and then, we've got ourselves a saviour so long as his skin is not too bright and his last name isn't soviet.

 

You don't see me complaining about Povetkin or Ibragimov having no abs - i only complain about FAT people with titties. :kick:

Yes, but it didn´t look like Arreola was going to do much, if Walker just kept sticking the jab in his face and kept his distance instead of rushing into Arreola´s wheelhouse. He set himself up for a big win by getting in shape, but gave up the one big advantage Arreola presented him. There should have been no urgency on his part.
