Great call. Don't think he qualifies, but he definitely should have been listed under nearly men.:bears:

    See we're learning here!:mj:

I'm not. I just don't think you are being clear about what you want. You brought up the Ring. The Ring should have recognized Dariusz all along, but didn't retroactively enforce their own criteria because they wanted to call Roy the champ.
Is roy a LH champ? Sure. But he shouldn't have been the ring's.

Further proof there are too many weight classes especially at bitch weight. If you can take a dump and change a weight class, you shouldn't get the same credit as the greats did.

when did mayweather stipulate that delahoya weigh in below 154lbs?

also didnt realize that beating ruiz constituted "conquering" the division.

I never realised Fraud beating Zab, Baldomir and wriggling and screaming his way out of Margarito's grip meant "conquering" welterweight either..

Yep. He never fought Mosley when he was still around at 135, nor Tszyu at 140, nor Cotto nor Margarito at 147, nor Wright at 154. A true fraud...

I hate to pull a Buddy on this one but it is BUMdomir. He wasn't considered anything more until Floyd fought him

I considered Baldomir the champion, but only because he had defeated the champion earlier that year. But hey, I guess I'm old fashioned.

I'm "old fashioned" too, like when Judah got beat by BUMdomir, he was a laughing stock around here and everyone said what a phoney champ Judah was. Ah, the good ol' days.

Im sorry too, but a nobody?.. don't you remember he puuurrroooooooooved himself, against,................ Arturo Thunder Gatti, a name, a legend, a former manufactured multi division paper belt carrier,.........he proved himself, it's at that precise moment we woke up to the truth, from then on everybody knew, THE CHAMP, was undeniably, FOR REAL.... the dreaded Carlos Tata Baldomir, in his prime, had arrived ............................... :notallthere:but it still confuses me to this day why there was such an unprecedented bidding war, a massive tender, to have a crack at this rock solid champion?,..even featherweights were willing to get at him,.. WTF?.. were they all crazy?... In hindsight I think they were, Vernon Forrest can punch and Baldomir went the distance, so,....you know, ooooowaaah.

Did Floyd win fighter of the year that year?... I know he went mighty mighty close, and quite well deserved might I add.... ahhh 2006,.. what a year in boxing that was.

And Judah was considered a mighty risky fight for anyone at 147 after dosposing of Spinks and getting the major belts. It just shows more about the bias of some posters here, I don't like A fighter then yeaaah all his opposition was garbage and he did nothing worthwhile.

Ah yes.....Spinks.....the other fraud that was shit on here on a regular basis after Judah beat him, beating another bum i.e. Mayorga as a claim to fame going in to fight Judah. That's a long line of shitty lineage to champion :atu:

It really is amazing how fighters change in status once Floyd gets thrown into the mix.
