I'll go with a Williams TKO at some point in the later rounds.

Buffer: ...the fight is for the vacant WBO interim jr. middleweight championship of the world.

Just awesome. I didn´t know the interim title was vacant.

If Verno's legs hold up, he could give Williams major problems. He's moving well.

phillips is a tricky fighter who's fairly good at adapting to all sorts of style. i dont think williams imposed anything in the first round.

ouma was most successful when he went to the body vs. phillips in both outings. williams did a pretty good job in round 3, but his cut appears pretty bad. either way, he's winning so if it gets stopped after 5 rounds, he should win.

That is a nasty cut. I´m just happy Paul didn´t fluke KO Verno in the 1st round.

    Final round.

I can't believe how much Kellerman can exagerate sometimes (I'm talking about the Pernell, Hearns and Chavez reference...). I was expecting something else from Williams. He's winning, as I expected, but he's the same old Paul Williams. With that kind of style I can't see him being dominant for a long time. As he'll grow older, this style won't be sustainable, he's too easy to hit and relies too much on activity. Against a 39 years old fighter it works, but against a younger foe who keeps his power for 12 rounds, one day or another that will spell disaster. He HAS to use his height but he doesn't even if that really helps him to land shots a shorter fighter wouldn't land.

I don't know how anybody can root against a guy like Williams. He must be the anti-Roy Jones or something.

Ahhh, kind of disappointing. I thought Verno was putting up a decent fight even if he was losing the rounds.

Kellerman needs to have his income investigated for full disclosure purposes. There is no way he isn't taking third party payments, in a "cash for comment" style of agreement.

I thought it was a strong performance...the fight went pretty much as expected...

Kellerman needs to chill though, going way overboard.....he kept referencing Williams' fight at middleweight as if he beat Bernard Hopkins, rather than Andy Kolle

I don't know who was harder to understand. Paul Williams or Max Kellerman. Paul is all country and every time I hear him talk it reminds me of the Otis Redding/Carla Thomas song "Tramp". "Otis, you straight from the Georgia woods...................That's Good!"

Max tries a Larry Merchant type soliloquy and fails badly. :shit:

You were right Tam, same old Williams... And agreed about Kellerman, he annoys me a lot.
