Cotto would beat the shit out of Quintana again, that's obvious.

I must say though, I think Williams would bash him.

Cotto is just to small for the big boys at 147+.

Not big and strong enough, and not slick enough to get away with being undersized.

They are NOT WORTHY, of the 'triumphant trio'.. the upper class... the who's who of boxing,..dont you remember?.. ...Floyd, Baldomir and Zab,.. ranked first second and third respectively ---- CLEAR OUT upon completion,......in 2006 we asked ourselves "who's Williams?"...."who's Margarito?"... "who's Joshua Clottey?"....IRRELEVANT my friend,.. IRRELEVANT.

High rollin' w/ lil FLOYD :hammert:

    :rolleyes::rolleyes:
Margarito/Williams might be the 2 best at Welterweight...but it's not by much...you make it sound as if those two are wayyyy above everyone in the division and that not true...Cotto,Clottey,Quintana...are all in the mix....shit Quintana is still owe a rematch from WILLIAMS...

I'm afraid Cotto would get lucky again and land lots of punches to Quintana until he doesn't get up again.

Some guys are just lucky like that.

it's double L....Quintana beating Williams 9-3/8-4 rounds in the first fight..A FLUKE...Williams blasting Quintana in round 1..NOT a fluke..

IMO catching someone cold and ko'in him in 1 is more Flukish than semi-dominating someone over 12 rounds....

No, Cotto got exposed. He was never an elite fighter or the best in his weight class, ever.

It is funny that stalking faggot troll(literally) Neil likes to poke fun at me because I said Malingnaggi was a good fighter. Cotto struggled with Paul and he went toe to toe with Cotto who is bigger, stronger and better. Cotto is far from being elite. He is a solid, good B+ level pug and nothing more. He literally would have only a fluke's chance of beating Williams. Jaws has heard me harp on him for years. I said Williams would beat Joto from day one and Margarito as well.

I love how people actually thought PBF/Cotto was compelling:lol::lol:Mostly PBF fans that wanted a sham victory to boost their boy. Cotto would not win a second against PBF and he get stopped.

I'd still give Cotto a good chance at beating Paul at 147.

At 154 however I'd strongly favor Williams.

No, not just Double L. Plenty of people are basically calling Cotto a bum, after he lost one fight, which was supposedly a FOTY contender.

As Others have Said, Pavlik STOPS Paul Williams...But it's a BETTER Fight than REED Imagined it Being, Earlier this Year....

Williams' Chin is on the Verge of Being Considered GREAT, but he's Got a To Face Some PUNCHERS his Own Size to PROVE that 1st...

REED Can't See Williams Being as HITTABLE as he was on Saturday, yet BEATING Pavlik...U Beat Pavlik w/FINESSE, Not Physicality...

i find it hilarious that quintana beat williams only to be ko'd in the 1st round of the rematch, and people act like i'm crazy to suggest that quintana could win a rematch with cotto. shows how stupid and thoughtless some of the posters here are - and you know who you are.

Well, your example does show how much better Quintana performs in rematches.

    the Ghost would STRETCH him

I hate when fighters watch other fighters and think they could do the same.

Paul watched Hopkins-pav and figures he can do the same.. but he aint no bernard hopkins..

Paul is kinda of aggressive and he'd get BRUTALLY STRETCHED!!!

    What?

I'm just saying that I liked the adjustments he made in the rematch.

If he can stick to his gameplan in a re with Cotto there's no reason to believe he can't have similar success.

If Williams beat Pavlik over 12 rounds and then got KO'd in one, you wouldn't think he at the very least deserves a rubber match?

It counts, but I don't see Williams trying to clear up the Quintana situation. The man deserves another crack!

    Quintana deserves a rubber match.

Given that he was losing on the cards before he was knocked out...what adjustments are you looking for him to make in order to beat Cotto?

Or is your entire point that because Williams reversed a loss in a rematch, anybody else can?

I got no problem with another Williams fight.

But he doesn't deserve shit from Cotto except another beating.
