I know, sort of reminded me when McCline had Peter on the corner Queer Street and Cock Slap Avenue, and completely abandoned his game plan and ultimately lost a decision:lol:

    1. walker fought a stupid fight; the fact that he managed to kd aereola is probably what fueled his warring style and made him abandon his skills

    2. is it possible aereola's chubbiness contributes to his power? that if he cut up and lost weight he wouldn't be the force he is

3.aereola may seem sloppy, but as of now he's the only top heavyweight who throws combinations consistently and isn't afraid to trade

Well Im not a fan of him but Povetkin throws combinations consistently and isn't afraid to trade, but ofcourse I forget that it's not about talent or boxing ability as to why the heavyweight division is dead.

That is why I think the fighters should be judged, or laughed at, based on their performance in the ring, not if they have tits or not. Just maybe some fighter feels the most powerful and most relisient with some extra pounds on him, and if that doesn't slow him down, then I say let him carry it.

I am not talking abut Arreola per se but guys like Povetkin: people on this board made fun of his looks and blamed him for not training. Yhet he seems to be the heavyweight with a great stamina out there who has never shown signs of getting tired. I don't think he would be any better with 10 lbs less weight. I also don't think Toney would be any more effective at heavyweight if he slimmed down to 210lbs

I've said it before, and I'll continue saying it. Arreola fuckin sucks! Its a sad sad sad testament to how little talent thier is in heavyweight boxing, that a bum like Arreola is the best American prospect.

Action-wise I agree, but the guy is hard to look at with that flab and those tattoos.

He needs to do way more work on the situp table, and on the road.

why? so you can jack off to him? is it tough to finish when he doesn't have a 6-pack? it's fighting. not body building.

thank you. nice to have someone agree with me. povetkin isn't much of a puncher, and his output would give arreola plenty of openings.

Areola is rubbish. Povs would beat the fuck out of him. He might be slightly undersized, but he is 10 times the fighter Areola is.

I agree with Ugo, Areola would be stopped by the second half of the fight.

    .....

Arreola has a puncher's chance against Povetkin I guess? Otherwise Povetkin is pretty much superior in every way. Hell even his defense is better than Arreola's

Why hell - it's not even that hard to have a better defense than Arreola...

I'd even go as far and say Arreola could be closer in all other areas...

Alot of you are pretty damn dumb and can't get past his appearance, if he looked like Klitschko and still fought the way he did, you guys would be lovin him...
With that said, he isn't ready for either Klitschko...
But I pick him over just about any other heavyweight.
And a Povetkin fight would be great for his next fight actually...and I would pick Chris to stop him in about 6 or 7.
Chris showed what he had to in that fight, he looked like shit in the first, and finally woke up after the KD, after that he looked really good, his normal self...
And one thing you have to love about him is he is very charasmatic...very easy to like.

I actually like Arreola but am a realist. The truth is so far he hasn't really fought anyone. There are certain things that are very apparent even against the weak opposition he has fought though. he showed a good chin last night, but jesus he was slow and easy to hit. He did punch well with Walker but Walker kind of fought a dumb fight as well. Arreola being so easy to hit actually got Walker KO'ed earlier than he should have been. LOL.

Yeah I actually consider Povetkin's defense his weakness, even so it's much better than Arreola's.

    hahahaha I agree with that.
And funnily enough though Chris is usually pretty quick, but that extra weight is killin him.
If he fights any top 5 top 10 guy like he did yesterday, he will lose...but he is alot better than that...
And hey...at least he is exciting.

He sucks...but he's fun to watch. There's a plae for fighters like that, but its not in world championship quality fights. Chris will do well in this business if heremembers that.
