Pacquiao is God to some idiots :atu:

I just talked to this dude that wanted to put 500 on Manny. If I was a prick I would take his money but I won't simply cause he is a friend.

but there are so many people picking Pacquiao in an easy fight it's hilarious.

Pacman in his wars has shown he is an accurate puncher. If he can be on top of Oscar for a while he may make it interesting but I have no interest in this fight. The disparity is huge and pacman would have to fight the smartest fight of his life. He ain't floyd and he certainly ain't whitaker:lol:. Pac is suprisingly accurate and he is strong but this one is for the money.

Who cares? but if one does than OScar in under 7. lets say at 7 tko

& it's ALL Freddie Roach's Fault...He's the 1 that NAMED Manny Pac the "Mexican Assassin" N the 1st Place...& While Mexican Boxing Fans RESPECT Manny Pac, that Nickname is IMPOSSIBLE for them to Forget...& RIGHTFULLY So...

Initially, REED Entertained the Idea of DeLa THROWING the Fight Altogether, but Based on what's @ Stake w/His Standing Amongst HIS OWN People, DeLa Cannot & WILL NOT Lose this Fight...

So like REED Said Earlier, it's ALL on Manny Pac...He'll Determine HIS OWN Fate...If Manny Comes Out AGGRESSIVE, he Gets STRETCHED EARLY...But if he Comes Out "Boxing", then DeLa will ALLOW Manny to Make it 7 or 8 Rounds...

Either Way, this Fight WON'T Go the Distance & DeLa WON'T Lose...

agREED. I don't see any way Manny wins and the fight goes as long as Oscar decides to let it go.

Some people on here are saying this one is for "ethnic pride" and that DLH is fighting for the mexicans? I thought this fight was just a cash grab? Anyway, I hope DLH loses. But he won't. Roach will throw the towel in.

DLH is much bigger, the matchup doesn't make any sense. Just like DLH going up to fight somebody like Wlad at heavyweight wouldn't make sense either.

That's because you're clearly a retard in addition to being an Oscar groupie.

No, this one doesn't count at all, it's a natural welterweight Vs a natural featherweight.

Say, Vitali is past his prime too, would it also count if he knocked Pacman the fuck out? After all, Pacman is arguably the best P4P fighter in the world.

if i'm a groupie then your a hater.....so pacman is now a natural feather? how about we talk about what manny is right now? hmmm last time i checked he weighed 135 pounds in his last fight? However, for the sake of arguing lets assume that Manny's greatest victories have occured at 130? Hoya's best weight was at 147? Ok so lets examine the advantages and disadvantages?

Manny is jumping 17 pounds from his best weight at 130 to 147 so oscar will have an advantage in weight which should help him in physical strength, and ability to take a punch

Manny is pretty much in his prime while oscar is not..this gives manny advantages in speed, reflex, foot movement, and stamina

Oscar has not fought at 147 in like 7 years simply because its been tough on him to get down to this weight...possible advantage to manny but we won't really know if oscar is drained or not come fight time

    also man

if your not excited for the fight and your angry about it...then don't order it and shut up

    U're MISSING the Point...

Sure, this is a "Big" Fight but it's NOT The Least Bit Meaningful, Unless Manny Pac Somehow WINS (which he Won't)...This is a JOKE of a Matchup, by the Standards of HARDCORE Boxing Fans...DeLa was Accused of Picking on Little Guys when he Fought Gatti & Forbes...Well, this is an even WORSE Instance...

Manny Pac HIMSELF is a DIMINISHED Fighter...The HUNGER & the FEROCITY have Been ABSENT for a COUPLE YEARS Now...He's NOT the Same Guy that was On Barrera like a Shark on a Sea Mammal, N their 1st Fight:nono:...

Manny's OUTSIZED, yet his Style is Predicated on Being AGGRESSIVE...DeLa's the Bigger, STRONGER, HARDER PUNCHING Man AND the BETTER BOXER...Manny Fought 1nce @ 135, so U Really CAN'T Even Call him a Lightweight...Manny IS a Natural Featherweight...

JM Marquez's Power EARNED Manny's Respect & Even BUCKLED him N their RE...& Erik Morales OUTMUSCLED Manny N their 1st Fight...BOTH of those Men R SIGNIFICANTLY SMALLER than DeLa Is...

Like REED Said, this IS a "Big" Fight, but DeLa Certainly SHOULDN'T B Pounding his Chest After he's Won...

oscar will stop manny with the first solid left hook...whether it be to the body or head. tough to say what round...however, if this fight goes past 6 then oscar is a loser as far as phonetap is concerned.

:lol::lol: DLH can remind us how great he is/was if he beat/fought Margarito/Cotto/Williams/Winky...or anyone his same size....beating lil Manny Pacquiao doesn't prove a THING...

I'm going with Pacquiao UD. Maybe my hate for De La Hoya has steered me to this, but I just don't think that the size difference is going to be as big of a factor as everyone else does.

    ........

Give it a rest yourself. Nobody is buying this shit, take a look at this thread for evidence. Oscar is picking on a guy WAYYYYYYY smaller than himself. Oscar himself said yesterday on Jim Rome this was a no win fight for him so he needs to KO Pacquiao. As for "greatness", you don't prove it by beating a guy 3 weight divisions under you. Sorry, you just don't. Johnny Ruiz would not be proving greatness by defeating Mikkel Kessler. This is a pathetic fight and it cracks me up that some people think it is legit.
